It seems like the opposite to me. Elon and the tech bros don't even realize what they have made. AI is a tool for artists and people with creativity and vision. A lot have these talented people have been denied access to the digital space through lack of education, lack of financial power, or other barriers.
AI isn't taking these people's jobs, it's empowering them to create and monetize their creativity on the internet. It's those with lack of creativity, curiosity, and motivation that will lose out, but I think we're going to be surprised at how few of these people are left once new generations are given the creative power that AI facilitates.

I agree. However, one thing this has forced me to do is learn to prioritize the quality of the reward over the frequency. I think this will happen more and more over time, and is already happening more in younger generations.

The fact that you were created by God gives your life value.
If you recognize this value, you can lead a rich and meaningful life.
If you don't recognize this value, you will feel empty, but you will still be valuable.
God makes us valuable, and He gives us the choice of whether to accept this or not to accept it.
Choose wisely.

I think that when it comes to Bitcoin's price, growth, performance, adoption, whatever you want to call it- all of it comes down to one thing, which is how long will it take a meaningful number of people to cross the conceptual bridge.
On one side of this bridge you have 99.9% of the world's population, which just naturally sees government money as money, and everything else as "assets." They have never known anything different, and they don't really think about why they have this perspective. They don't even realize that it's a perspective that can be questioned, or has alternatives. In this world, Bitcoin is just another asset struggling to gain market share with a utility value that is difficult to see, against a ton of assets with very tangible utility value that is obvious to everyone.
I believe that a lot of bitcoiners are still on this side of the bridge- including many who are well known, appear on podcasts, etc.
On the other side of the bridge, government money is not capital M- "Money," it's just a form of money that's being used right now, and is currently in competition with other potential forms of money, one of which is Bitcoin. From that perspective, when you compare the qualities of Bitcoin as money against the qualities of fiat as money, there is no comparison. Bitcoin is so obviously the winner. From this view, we have the ability to choose to use a form of money that is better.
It is difficult to get to this side of the bridge, but once you're here, you will never choose to leave.

Got to the bottom of it-
The guarantee is the point. A hard money's core promise was never deflation — it was that nobody can dilute you. Everything else is downstream of that, including whether the abundance lands on prices or on margins.
You're betting on a certain improvement with a possible bonus, where the floor is roughly today. And the honest thing to say is that the case for it doesn't rest on the bonus being likely. It rests on the removal of the penalty being certain — and on the fact that you'd rather have the choice than not have it.
Which has been the thread the whole way through. Not "this will make everything better," but "this gives people an exit."

I should include that this calculation is assuming a bitcoin standard.

Had a nice little conversation with a VeniceAI agent this morning and then when we got onto the topic of exponentially improving technology and deflation he spit out this little nugget and kind of broke my brain-
But here's the brake, and it's real-
Deflation equals output growth minus velocity growth. And AI is the single largest velocity event in monetary history.
Machine-to-machine settlement at machine speed means you need far less money sitting around to support a given volume of transactions. If velocity rises as fast as output, the deflation rate collapses toward zero and the holder earns almost nothing — because real money balances equal Y/V, and if both grow together, balances are flat.
Someone smarter than me want to weigh in on this?
