And yes, it's not trivial to write one.
Very based that you are doing so.

I'm, to my knowledge, the only user of my client and I've never used LLMs for writing code.
(I also don't plan to, I think it's a retarded thing to do).

Interesting organization, I didn't know it.

C++ is mostly a superset of C. Most valid C code is valid C++ (or can be converted to C++ with only minor modifications).
So whatever you say about C probably applies to C++ as well.

In C, sometimes people discuss whether the * should go on the right or the left of the space when declaring a pointer.
I'm of the opinion it should absolutely go on the right, as that is consistent with all other declarations in C. In C, declaration mimics use. It's true you are declaring a variable of int* type, but the declaration should be based on how that is converted to int.
So:
int *a;
Good.
This is in contrast with, for example, D, where the type, simple or not, is on the left of the variable name. Declarations do *not* mimic use. So in D I write "int* a", although both C and D accept both syntaxes.
Now, C++ also has pointers, and of course I use the same syntax for declaring a pointer as I do in C.
C++ also has references, which are very similar, nearly the exact same, and possibly the same at the low level, but not actually the same concept in the language.
The fucking ampersand is used to declare a reference. This does not mimic use.
You cannot convert an int& variable back to int by using the & operator. The use of the ampersand is inconsistent with the rest of the style of the language.
So, if I use the syntax above for C/C++ pointers, with the * on the right side of the space, which should I use for references?
int& a;
or
int &a;
#programming #coding #c #cpp

Or just imagine a business guy in general.
That's usually a good way of imagining an idiot.

Quantum physics is unquestionably both real and incomplete (and probably at least partially incorrect), the scientific and engineering community has produced far too much evidence for it to not be "real".
The multi-world interpretation is also nowhere near close being the only one, nor the most prominent one among physicists.
There is also no such thing as a human playing with jumping from one quantum state to another. That's wowo nonsense. It has nothing to do with actual physics.

In The Matrix humans aren't really simulated. They have physical bodies and physical brains, but spend their life connected to VR machines.
Usually those who hypothesize we are in a simulation mean the whole of our universe and the whole of us is running on some kind of computer and we don't exist in any physical sense in base reality.
The Matrix doesn't need to raise currently unanswerable questions about human consciousness, since human minds are still embedded in physical meaty human brains.

You can either create a derivative or something very sloppy.
We don't have a legal non-GPL Blender alternative, with the same level of functionality, and as good as it, do we?
Blender uses the GPL so that it stays free and open source software. Copyright is owned by contributors and this reassures everyone that the program will stay free.
Of course, you may point out the Blender Foundation is a non-profit, not a company and surely not a start-up. But, in most instances, software freedom is not the way to go when maximizing profit and hasn't been for decades.
When software freedom, not money, is the goal, free software licenses make sense. And while I'm not a huge fan of copyleft, sometimes the GPL makes sense.

🇪🇺 The European Union wants to hear you! 🇪🇺
The call for evidence regarding the European Open Digital Ecosystem Strategy is open.
You can answer from anywhere in the world (even non-EU countries) and in any official EU language of your choice.
Before answering, please:
1) Actually understand what open source software is.
2) Actually read the questions, carefully.
