Thanks for the explantion. To me it sounds expensive, complicated and inferior to Bitcoin in multisig self custody.

Interessanter Punkt!

Hi. I don't understand your concept of "own nothing and control everything". Maybe you can give a few examples. If I buy into your investment fund I own an IOU and have no control at all.

2025-11-10 17:36:30 UTC

True. I also think for "hyperbitcoinization" the adoption must come from the merchant side (demanding/preferring being paid in Bitcoin) but let's see.

2025-11-10 17:11:17 UTC

Extremely confusing to "normies" as they probably know that one Bitcoin costs thousands of US-Dollars as seen on the news.
Btw the exchange rate has decimal digits? 940.96 Sats for 1 USD? That's very precise, lol.

2025-11-10 17:05:15 UTC

- reply

Why? The Bitcoin symbol is already on the left as an icon and it says "Bitcoin received". We need the normies to understand Sats as well, otherwise they will be completely confused. They probably know that one Bitcoin costs thousands of US-Dollars, so this won't make sense for them.

It's not the state that needs to adopt Bitcoin but the individual. You don't need permission to send or receive Bitcoin.

The state needs you to believe that you are all "brothers" and "sisters" to fight wars and inflate the currency. The book "The Sovereign Individual" opened my eyes on this topic. Highly recommended.

So someone has to make the stuff and people need to want this stuff. It would be the same as whining about the lack of Bitcoin adoption. Do you want to force Bitcoin adoption?
Someone has to build it and there need to be people who want to buy it. Entrepreneurship fixes this naturally because of free market incentives. With interventionism (for example tariffs) you kill entrepreneurship.

2025-04-12 17:01:29 UTC

- reply

You asked "How are tariffs on china a bad thing in this sense?" and the first principle answer is, that all state interventionism is bad (including tariffs). That's why I recommended you Mises, as he (and many others) deeply thought about all these implications from first principles.
I understand your thoughts and conclusions but they are way above first principles, there are many many layers below that.

@nprofile…2ln2 I recommend you to take some time and read some Mises, that's first principles: https://mises.org/library

2025-04-12 16:42:40 UTC

- reply

@nprofile…2ln2 you could already buy those low time preference goods before, why impose tariffs (taxes) on goods YOU think people should NOT buy? Let everybody make their own decisions. Why force them into doing what YOU think is right? That's state interventionism and not a free market.
