This is a 3” square accordion fold mixed media book of birds and their homes. 🐦‍⬛🏡
The great thing about accordion books is no need for stitching. A simple M fold gets you a front cover, two 2-page spreads, a single page (or back cover), and another 2-page spreads.

Some inchies (art that is 1 inch square) I made back in 2020.
Flower theme, limited colors, triptychs. Started with the same flower across all three, then moved into design experiments with 2 flowers. Drawn with Micron pens and colored with Faber Castell PITT artist pens.
I had them in a small box for a while, then mounted them in a handmade book I bought from an artist’s Etsy store.
Not sure I want to work that tiny again, but it was a fun size to play with.
Tagging @nprofile…f0rm to show examples of my other small art.

I used to have a table in the dealer’s room at a lot of pop culture and fan conventions. Had my whole setup all ready: table covering, signage, artwork and other stuff prepped to be bought and carried away, biz cards and fun giveaways.
Haven’t done that in many years, and just realized how much I missed having the fun packaging as I got the sale from my @nprofile…3sxf booth ready to ship.
Time to make more glassine envelopes and custom stickers in anticipation of November #bullishmarket sales. ☺️

@nprofile…8mhq has brought ATCs (artist trading cards) to #nostr !!!
The format is 2.5” x 3.5” on whatever you want.
I made these back in 2011; more of a collage style than what I would do now.
Last photo is a plastic template for the size of an ATC. It’s really handy if you create a masterboard, then use the template as a window to find which areas you want to cut down to be your ATC.

This arrived months ago, but I just got home to appreciate it: pack of stickers, art prints, and an absolutely gorgeous art book by @nprofile…kmsy
Over 260 designed pages, lay-flat binding, sections on past, present, and process.
I’ve bought A Lot of artist art books and this 5⭐️ quality.
Congratulations on this accomplishment!!! 👏🎉💜

We saw a few High Winds warnings as we drove. Also a wind farm on the horizon; looked like a cluster of tiny white skyscrapers.

Thanks! My guess was something to do with snow. Never seen things like that in Texas. 🤠

Road trip through Montana and Wyoming.
Anyone know what the angled fence-like things are in the first photo?

Being on vacation means sharing the world’s most ridiculous dessert before having dinner.
Behold! A vanilla shake with raspberry sauce topped with sprinkles, teddygrams, a donut, and a slice of cheesecake.
It was awesome. 😋

I’ve had more of an awareness Memento Mori since crossing the half-century birthday mark.
The wildfire evacuation brought it closer to home in a different way in that everything my mom owned, other than her Go bag and the car, could have been destroyed overnight.
A lifetime of physical memories gone.
A kind of death in that I’d never again see the tapestries my grandparents stitched. The photos of that family vacation. My largest watercolor painting.
