Dolly and Tim Curry dying before Mitch and Don is so unbelievably bullshit.

a whole lot of people like to claim they support marriage equality and then keep quiet about how disabled people can't get married without losing their benefits

You know you live in Indiana when you go to the Farmer's Market and two of the biggest selling points are raw milk products, non-vaccinated meat, and there's InfoWars graffiti.

Just a few personal thoughts on the death of public broadcasting.

It's really disheartening how much the internet has taken a step back in accessibility for epileptics. 5 years ago, the setting to turn off autoplay on videos in Firefox worked perfectly. Now, it's situational. 5 years ago, on Chrome, I could install extensions to stop autoplay and stop GIFs from animating. Now, none are supported because it's not "best practices". The internet is so much worse for epileptics now when it had been getting so good. It's so depressing.

the internet has been force-fed so much midwest humor and culture these last few days, but let's be real, it's mostly been the surface-level stuff we present to outsiders anyway. i think it's time for the next level: "yeah no", "no yeah", "yeah no yeah", and "jeet?"
after that, we'll get to midwest small talk, the midwest goodbye, "fudgie", tator tot casserole, "puppy chow", "jeez", adding an "s" to the end of surnames that end with "r", etc.

rfk: autistics will never pay taxes
me: look, just because elon musk is the only autistic person you know, that doesn't mean none of us pay taxes...

great article. it's the pushback we need to this new online culture of "don't say anything bad about art" and "let people enjoy things".

To authors out there, so, I am very disorganized when it comes to writing and it's coming back to bite me hard. I was looking up free novel planning programs and the two that seem the best are Wavemaker and Novelist. Is one considered to be better than the other, or is there better free alternatives out there?
