That's a fair assessment, I know someone who was using a LLM to automatically generate a blog and text for a podcast, then used another system to automatically generate the sound for that podcast, and then publish it. At no point was it checked by a human (to my knowledge). Filler in its most fundamental form. The word "content" describes it perfectly.

I wasn't aware there was a released version I could try either, and I follow tech news almost obsessively.
But yeah, imagine 77 billion spent on researching how to cost effectively generate petrol from air and solar power with a self contained and deploy-able device. It would allow countries to massively balance their Co2 emissions. I think it could work because there's already been research in this field and proofs of concept do exist.
For 77 billion you could make the entire chain into an easy to use product, and it probably would sell very well.

Neat, I note also that it's got about 5,000 downloads in two days, I wonder who's going to be running this locally given how huge it is.

I think the only real solution is to build more and higher density housing. Like, we can shut down AirB&B, but having more housing will make these daily rental places much less affordable without needing special laws or having to chase them down. It's a problem that can only occur when there's a super low unoccupied housing rate to begin with.

People are working on it. https://loyal.com/
But, you would be surprised at how many people just get *angry* at the idea that their dog might get to live longer. Like, the internet is for arguing, I know, but I thought that at least on this *one* issue, we could all get behind it 100%.

The Fandom wiki does seem to be something of a blight. Even when they're empty they crowd the search results, they're filled with ads, they're wayy to slow even while empty. Just awful in every way.

Why not just ignore it, send them a message back telling them why.
It's not like they can actually go to court, because then they risk getting charged with perjury and then going to jail. That's not worth the fraction of a cent.
I'd write to OnlyFans too, in some super public way that lets a whole bunch of other people see it, so they can't just brush it under the rug and actually have to deal with it. Do they have a Bluesky account?
