Congratulations! 🎉
With your first kid, I really enjoyed reading your day to day experiences with life. I am continuing to look forward on hearing the comparisons with this one.

Everything is backed up in a couple places now 😅
Not going to loose these early memoires!

What a wonderful way to start the day. Attempted to get to work early so I can work on some backlogged projects, only to realize I lost my phone. I was mostly worried about all the baby pictures I haven't backed up yet. Thought it might of fallen out of my pocket on the ride to work, but fortunately I it was just left on the counter at home.
Now that I am back in the office, I am too distracted to work on anything until everything is backed up. I will get to the backlogged projects... eventually...

I get this all the time when I ride. I usually respond with "I do, but no guarantees about everyone else out there."

Fedora was my first choice back in the day and what I fall back to all the time. It's like coming home.
If you are new to the Linux ecosystem and want to tinker, I would stick with the base system and not the immutable versions. GNOME is considered the default but the KDE spin is very popular.
GNOME requires some tweaking to be usable in my opinion, most can be fixed by installing gnome-tweaks.
KDE is more windows like. People say they have an easier time transitioning compared to GNOME. My gripe with KDE is its too customizable with buttons and knobs everywhere.
I personally like updating and installing packages via the terminal. DNF's output is very nice and readable compared to the software center. With modern Linux you don't have to really ever touch the terminal if you don't want to, but it can make life more easier once its understood.

The stillness of everything as the sun went down was most needed and appreciated.

Seperation anxiety is hitting hard today. I miss my daughter. 😞
Won't be able to see her for another week. Next weekend can't come soon enough.

How does one view this list? Primal & Dark Wisp don't know how to view the event.

Proud dad moment. We are getting there one day at a time.

An owl just landed on the pole out my window and is watching me and my cat. I am impressed by the camera on the pixel 8 because it is practically black outside.

Nostr needs more variety of topics / content.
Your poll needs more variety of topics. What about images that aren't memes? What about video content? Live streaming, vlogs. What about podcasts? What about stores/shops? What about databases (IMDB/TMDB)? Games?!
Nostr needs more everything as it seems like it can be the backend for just about anything.

You can also use the Caddy webserver as a reverse proxy with Cloudflare as your DNS, pointing to your Tailscale IP. A bit more involved but flexible.
