Today is my 3 year Anniversary of joining Mastodon. So time for an #Introduction (yes, I prevaricate. A LOT)
Over 6 decades trying to get better at the 'being a human' thing & still trying.
I love learning things and silly jokes. I still haven't lost the joy & wonder of discovery.
I get stuff wrong, but strive to do better at all this. So please bear with me.

I worked in Dublin at the end of the '90s. I knew a few people who's families were living in houses that had massively spiked in value in one of the areas that were gentrified. They were working folk in houses that they'd occupied for generations & who appeared, on paper, to be wealthy, although they were very far from it. What's the solution there? Leave your family home because you can't afford the externally imposed value hike?
