Matthew 18:21–35 tells of a servant forgiven an impossible debt who refuses mercy to another. Christian forgiveness does not call evil good or erase consequences. It releases vengeance because we remember the King who first showed mercy to us. #ChristIsKing #Christianity #biblestr

The harvest is plentiful, the laborers are few — so Jesus tells them to pray first. And they were praying for themselves without knowing it. This is how God works: the prayer for laborers equips the people praying to become them. #Biblestr #ChristIsKing #HarvestIsPlentiful

Before Jesus was born, his presence was already causing joy. John leapt in the womb. Elizabeth prophesied. Mary sang the Magnificat. The Visitation of Mary to Elizabeth is the gospel's first proclamation — and one of the church's most overlooked feasts. #Visitation #ChristIsKing #Biblestr

The prayer Jesus commands in Matthew 9:38 is answered in 10:1 — the disciples who prayed for laborers become the laborers. We cannot pray earnestly for God to send workers into the harvest without finding ourselves moving toward it. #ChristIsKing #EmberDays #Biblestr
