The commentariat in the UK are being trusted because they say “Russia, Putin Did It” - in actuality brexit was in the interests of the USA and the local upper classes. It doesn’t matter as the necessary damage has been done to the EU and Europe…. #politics

Of the three prefixes Late, Post and Open... each of which encodes the concept it prefixes,,, only late is useful as ij summer, capitalism, late work as opposed to all the reactionary uses of post and open... it's especially interesting as late, in the uses I can think of here has ver been successfully appropriated by reactionary ideologues #philosophy

it's a matter of Capital, War and illiberalism (neo-managerialism) - as a westerner your political task is to oppose the abuses of the western empire. It is not to criticise Iran. China. Russia, Cuba or North Korea. there is a way of thinking that the phrase “true analytic philosophy has never been tried” is a relatively harmless variant, equivalent to the other reactionary statements true capitalism true liberalism true libertarianism and so on. This level of unthinking and the avoidance of thinking is both tragic and comic. the point marxists like me are making about liberalism is that in many forms it has been the dominant ideology since Hobbes, nrly four hundred years. It cannot be idealistically restructured to avoid the horrors of late capitalism, technocracy, techno-feudalism, the ongoing flow of capital uphill. In the UK one of the finest liberal institutions ever created: the NHS has been under attack from liberalism for 50 yrs

What I am rejecting is the idea that liberalism, in the idealistic form you are proposing is capable of resisting the liberalism / illiberalism of late capitalism: including of course the >> technocracy, managerialism << the point is that these things are the actual heart of contemporary liberalism.
