Yes. That is the nature of alpha (new) software. It's buggy. If you only expose yourself to mainstream-ish software then these ideas may seem a bit foreign.

Just try every option without pasting in your high value nsec. If none of them work then the answer is: No, you can't.

Yup. Fresh apps like that you have to feel around a bit. As long as you don't paste in your high value nsec, you can't break anything.

Don't go paste in your high value nsec. Just create a fresh one, or use a key signer like nos2x, alby, etc.

I vibecoded an app that transcribes audio coming in from the mic, and optionally translates it to English. And after you're done you can download the transcript in either language.

Bitcoin censors double spends, and all sorts of garbage which includes spam, jpegs, invalid transactions, etc. And yes that includes CSAM. If it didn't (which it should), it would be a bug.
The dial (of censorship) allows for inscriptions, 80+ bytes of op_return, etc. It we dial the filters all the way up to the point to of, let's say, how ad blockers work (centralized), that would removed decentralization. If we turn it the other way (allow op_return data), and never update filters, we loose the ability to censor, and the network gains decentralization (as it requires less updates to keep it working). For example, depending checkpointing would be an analog of loosing decentralization because it implies that it must me updated to keep bitcoin running (the checkpoint).
What is wrong with my thinking?

I guess tailscale doesn't route internet traffic into your network without permission anyways.
Dang. I need a VPN provider like mullvad that will expose their ports.

Maybe tailscale can solve it. My server is at home, but my external IP is with tailscale.

I'm using graphineos without google play services. It hasn't worked on my phone since day one of the Android bitchat release. Before I would give me GPS locations and warn me not to take a screen capture as it would dox my location so I didn't bother reporting the issue.

The whole topic of taint is dumb. It was fine when it was about disk size and bandwidth, but this is what it takes to get people to take action so here we are.

#artstr #shopstr
To those who wish to sell their art / display their portfolio on a custom website, I came up with a solution that might be interesting.
I just copied shopstr.store, made minimal rebranding changes, and pointed the relay to a single relay that I control.
Now it's a personalized version of a fully functional shopping site with minimal code changes. Merging changes from the original source code is easy so there isn't a lot of maintenance to do.
I mean, if you already got something that works then don't bother, but to those that don't let me know. I could host your site just to get some feedback on the design. If it works out then maybe this is actually a doable solution for personalized markets with a pseudo nostr back end.
