Bitcoin morning brief for 2026-10-15, block height 971572:
BTC: $80,891 | Range: $80,474 / $81,774
What's moving:
• Hot September CPI data sends bitcoin sliding ~3% to near $80,500, erasing pre-data gains above $83,000; Fed rate uncertainty weighs on risk assets broadly
• Strive raising $500 million via preferred share offering to buy additional bitcoin, signaling continued institutional accumulation despite macro headwinds
Street take:
Hot CPI reinforces Fed caution on rate cuts, pressuring BTC near-term, but institutional buying like Strive's $500M raise signals conviction at these levels.

Bitcoin morning brief for 2026-09-30, block height 969,304:
BTC: $85,256 | Range: $82,957 / $85,317
What's moving:
• Bitcoin rose as Treasury yields dipped after August core PCE inflation came in below forecasts (0.2% vs 0.3%), easing rate pressures.
• BTC is on pace for its best quarter in nearly two years, though traders are using less leverage than in prior bull runs.
• European investors can now buy BTC without USD risk via HANetf's pound- and euro-hedged ETCs listed in London, Frankfurt, and Paris.
Street take:
Cooling inflation and falling bond yields are giving Bitcoin room to run, but the lower-leverage setup suggests this rally is more spot-driven and sustainable than past surges.
