Yeah, AI helps massively!
I recommend you ask AI how to convert your current config to flakes-parts with imported for automatic discovery of your modules. This makes NixOS much better to organize thanks to modularity.
Also I'd recommend the 'flake.modules.nixos.<name of your module>' style as it gives better errors (if I remember correctly).
That would enable you to easily share configs for certain things (like I did with a Monero node module I believe) :)

Oh yeah, auto updates makes kinda sense with NixOS 🤔 I mean if something breaks you can always just boot the previous version.
For me though, I prefer the manual approach, as I also handle quite a bit of VMs.
Also have you experimented with import-tree and flake-parts?

I probably agree with your idea, but as TX count can be easily manipulated, I'd say the volume numbers from services like ShopinBit, Nano-GPT, MyNymBox etc are the most important NGU (though if I'd had to guess you probably agree with that). 🤔

Oh okay, yeah that makes sense!
I was thinking what the best measure would be, cause the daily price can vary wildly so maybe a moving average of some sort would make the most sense 🤔

I don't know where you got your numbers from, but they don't seem to be correct. So maybe be careful when flaming someone for presenting fiat numbers 🤔

Of course! Monero is going to do what people thought Bitcoin would do. Then there is Nostr, SimpleX and much more! I'm very bullish on freedom-tech 😎🔥

WTF are you talking about? Don't you realize that universal healthcare is socialistic bullshit? The US system is also shot, thanks to the state and IP/the patent system.
Also your hashtag is wrong. What you are calling capitalism is better called corporatism. Capitalism is just free people tradling voluntarily and there is nothing shot or wrong about that.

On one hand this is surprising but then again it kind of is not 🤔🤡
Does anyone has details on that?
Like is this possible because it's like swapping coins into Monero immediately out again (so Monero can't really obfuscate anything) or is it the low volume/TX count on Zcash?
I mean I would've expected that the ZK tech of Zcash makes this kind of tracing impossible 🤔

But jokes aside, yes, especially the developing countries would profit so much from Crypto (and they're more likely to be open for this kind of solution than western countries I believe).

You are aware that if they manage to funnel most of the hash power into a few regulated businesses, this businesses get regulated to censor all transactions are unwanted. And if at some point self-custody gets basically outlawed and those miners are only allowed to mine blocks with white-listed coins, then this 'Institutional crap' DOES affect the base layer.
Oh and if the miners only mine blocks onto a clean chain, then people with non-kyced coins are fucked.
For this to work they only need to regulate a bit over 50% of hashing power, which basically is already were we're at (we just not have those strict rules, yet).

Nice FUD there bro.
Corrupting Monero isn't the same as attacking it.
The group that did the selfish-mining-attack, were NOT able to have a sustained 51% attack. There is a paper that has all the data about that incident: https://arxiv.org/pdf/2512.01437
That the attacker abused an inflation bug is complete nonsense. The only inflation bug that was found was many years ago, got fixed immediately and the research trying to check for an actual usage of that inflation bug found basically nothing. https://www.moneroinflation.com/
I don't want to speculate why you're spreading this level of FUD, but maybe do some actual research next time.
Also all Monero devs that have more rights have build trust with the community over years. Ontop of that every major/important code change gets audited from third parties before it gets deployed to mainnet.

True 🤔 I've never noticed that before. Weird. Probably just a coding bug?
But overall an interesting question how you would handle the amount of filling with a dynamic blocksize.

Because you need version 6 of Cake Wallet for that.
Though version 6 is still flagged as prey release on github: https://github.com/cake-tech/cake_wallet/releases
Also Spark is not really self-custodial...
'Spark is, of course, much better than a classic custodial wallet - it allows for unilateral exit if the operator shuts down and deletes their keys (once they finish implementing it) - but it still requires fully trusting the operator. If the operator changes the code running on their server and swap coins with folks, they can steal coins going forward.' - Matt Corallo (Bitcoin Core dev)
