Thanks man! Yeah when I officially release I will create them a wallet and put it into splits. They are more interested in just getting the music out there. They have no interest in bitcoin whatsoever. But you never know. Yeah the drummer is doing ok last I heard but I suppose that could change any time. Anyways thanks for your interest and hope you get to hear it when its fully released.

Thanks man! You have been a bit of an inspiration for me! Hopefully I can do a bit to get more people listening and publishing v4v music! Also your interview on once bitten was great! We need you and others like matt finlay or whomever to get onto more bitcoin podcasts talking about music. We have to get people who already have sats to be aware of v4v music.

I am gearing up to release an album I am currently mastering. The band is Called The You Project, and they wrote and recorded 11 songs back in 2012 at their home studio.
The 3 band members did everything for the album until right after tracking, when the bass player/owner of the studio suddenly died. This shocked the other two band members who were left with simply memories of the experience and a CD with unmastered tracks.
A family friend was the guitar player in the band, and years ago he showed me the songs and I really liked them. The songs have an authentic classic rock feel, which makes sense because the members all grew up in the 70s and fell in love with music during that time.
A few months ago, I visisted the guitar player and brought him a copy of the @nprofile…56l3 v4v music magazine. I wanted to show him what I was getting into when it came to music. He asked me to copy a CD with his album on it so he could give it to the drummer he worked with, who had just gotten news of a stage 4 cancer diagnosis. Maybe the CD and listening to their songs could cheer him up in these dark times.
I asked if he would consider allowing me to release his album into #v4vmusic since the album was never released or really heard by anyone accept the band and close friends. This is when he brought up the fact that the album was technically never quite finished, and needed to be mastered.
This made me feel like I was on a mission. I said I could finish mastering the album, create an album cover, list all the credits and distribute the album online. The remaining band members approved and it has been my honor to be able to help these guys get their songs sounding better and make their work truely come to life.
Before Christmas the album will be finished and released, and I cannot wait to have it out there. For now, here is a taste of one song from the album, it is called "Light it Up".

That’s sick man. My main instrument is drums but I do like to strum some guitar. I have a couple electrics and acoustics and a bass. I took piano lessons when I was like 8 but switch right to drums haha.

100%. Things come a long way in a short time. And yes I like that scene too where he hears a whole arrangement on top of her song. This movie got me started into a bit of music movie kick! Watching a few more I haven’t seen before.

I recently saw this good music movie called Begin Again. I remember when I was going to university for film I was also working at a movie theatre, and this movie came out, but I never saw it. Its about a female singer/songwriter and a music label producer who are both fed up with the music industry and its lack of depth and how it produces cookie-cutter songs simply to sell to the public. The music producer (Mark Ruffalo) hears a song by the singer (Keira Knightly) and decides to record an album for her as they both break free from the shackles that the industry has put on them. In the end, they decide to release the album not with a label but something that sorta sounds similar to #v4vmusic or bandcamp lol @nprofile…56l3 @nprofile…3sr2 @nprofile…v2r3 @nprofile…3cgl @nprofile…x7ug https://npub1tjlrtz99nvjxxv4x3zj5vm28vyv47gdyucjsw4xgvm28wv733d5svyqs50.blossom.band/e79db9e2739c24aab41911f1ab4e68f56d1400ed8d612f5c7d5f0a4c2117ced5.jpg

Today is my 34th birthday. I get to spend it embracing my Italian heritage in the first half of the day, followed by band practice with @nprofile…av3f . Nothing like jarring homemade tomatoes with some music to look forward to after!

I caught some of your plebchain radio interview. Matt's interview is next on the list! So 1000 units meaning 1000 records? Or do you go half and half between vinyl and CDs? Yes I know how much professional studio time and mixing/mastering is. That's why I built a home studio 😂. I chose to spend the the money on gear and time on learning. The advantage is that its cheaper but your first bunch of recordings are trial and error. And you won't sound professional until years of experience. Hopefully I am about half way there😁 But lots of respect for musicians who choose to fork the cash for quality recordings🙌
