Happy friday!

What would be the 1st #browser you'd like to see add PriEco to their #search engine list?

How it feels like #mojeek

I've added #articles to PriEco landing #page

PriEco should now feel noticeably faster!

2026-09-29 11:00:15 UTC

Crawler is slowing down PriEco #search. As soon as #crawler pauses PriEco becomes so fast. This really shouldn't happen, I'll #debug it

I should add a counter to see how many #nodes are in PriEco #network. I know it can't be many, but I know it's at least a few

PriEco 4 years ago. Times flies incredibly fast

2026-09-17 07:00:13 UTC

It looks like PriEco hasn't progressed much for a long time now. Well a lot has been cooking and getting added

2026-09-17 03:00:11 UTC

Especially fun should start soon. I cannot wait

2026-09-17 00:00:13 UTC

I really hope PriEco can find the stuff you need. Not too long from now I'll be adding a lot more new results to the index. Specializing on #scientific studies, but more from other fields too
#scientific

2026-09-15 19:00:16 UTC

What even are these countries we have users in?

2026-09-14 00:00:12 UTC

I can't wait to be finally "done" with PriEco. After this updater is done then the base is done, and I'll be just adding #widgets and improving #ranking and #usability of PriEco
#widgets #ranking #usability

2026-09-13 18:00:29 UTC

The last super duper important PriEco #update is progressive index updater for all #nodes. I have it designed it my head, just need to figure out how to make it
#update #nodes

I'm getting paranoid
Today I literarily had a dream where the punchline was that someone wrote a PriEco review and the conclusion was that it was horrible
I'm going insane

If you'd like to discuss PriEco features and early try the things (we/I) (am/are) cooking. Join PriEco chat groups in the footer of https://prieco.net/
I love to see you there, but I'm not answering, it's 3am here

I program in #Rust for 2 years now. Let's say publicly I've resisted the urge to put thigh-highs on

PriEco has integrated https://www.iroh.computer/ for #decentralization
Now we are improving #Docker
So you can host your own #independent web search engine
#decentralization #Docker #independent

2026-09-10 18:00:09 UTC

I'm thinking. I've built PriEco on ideas of and #Ecology
Then when PriEco was around 1y old a guy on https://getsession.org/ made my mind to #opensource it under AGPL
And then I saw a meta search engine was unscalable and made index
Now I'm getting PriEco #decentralized
#Privacy #Ecology #opensource #decentralized

PriEco was having minimal usage. I mentioned #decentralization here and we are back!
Yes, decentralization is in #development, but really not far, it doesn't seem like a hard problem to me

So, you aren't even able to access PriEco there, right?
Hopefully it gets better

A familly member of mine is Australian and worries a lot
Obscura must be doing a ton of helping toghether with other VPN companies. Especially if they support DPI resistance
PriEco is also moving towards decentralization and as I store at least text and links of html pages (+ metadata) in the worst case, this could be a source of information from censored websites too

Trying to improve it 🫡

What's your experience with PriEco's own index? Is it any good?

2025-10-07 10:45:32 UTC

I don't have much to work on for PriEco right now. Is there something that you would like me to improve
or
should I again focus on index quality?

2025-10-01 17:39:21 UTC

We already have PriEco: Signal, Telegram and Discord groups, would you join us if I added another platform?

Which web #searchengine do you use and why? I wonder what are your favorite features and ways to surf the #web
