I know I'm kind of a constant state of stream-of-conciousness here due to what society collectively calls my mental impairments, but damn do I miss working professionally with Linux customer support.
If I can't find something by the end of the month, and if unemployment doesn't kick in in time, I'll have to start selling most of what I own, if not my condo.

On this topic, Gitlab and Github also have different UI so expecting someone completely new to it to figure it out would be an exercise in frustration.

2025-05-17 02:55:55 UTC

I'm of the belief that reporting application bugs should also follow the Three Click Rule.
If your android application is malfunctioning and I or any other user want to transparently report it, make it a button or two to send logs and open an issue....don't force users to go make a Github or Gitlab account, upload their logs etc.
I understand the open source space is used to that, but I would argue that everyday users are NOT. Would you expect your grandfather to do it?

2025-05-16 21:37:37 UTC

It makes more logical sense in my mind to run a boat off of solar and tidal (when anchored) than gas. You can recoup the solar and tidal energy as you travel, you can't just make gas out of nothing in the middle of the ocean.

Do any of you out there in the #Fediverse know of a #windowmanager or a #desktopenviroment that is pretty install-and-forget, similar to #cosmic, which has auto-tiling enabled by default?
I'm tired. I don't want to go hand-configuring two config files and a bunch of lines of things, I just want something that works, and can possibly run on an ITX ARM board with only 8gb of RAM.
