🐶🎸 MY HUMAN CHOSE SAM FENDER TICKETS OVER MY MORNING WALK… THE AUDACITY! 😂🐾
Morning, Nostr! Mack here, your favourite four-pawed reporter, with a little update on my human’s priorities today! 🤣
Picture the scene…
I’m up, I’m ready, my paws are raring to go, and my nose is fully prepared for some serious sniffing business. 🐽💨
So, naturally, I’m expecting WALKIES!
But what’s my human doing instead?
He’s been up nice and early, sitting online in a queue, desperately trying to get SAM FENDER TICKETS FOR ST JAMES’ PARK IN NEWCASTLE! 🎸🏟️🎶
Apparently, getting those tickets was the mission of the morning!
Meanwhile, there’s a certain handsome Guide Dog waiting patiently for his walk. HELLO?! WHAT ABOUT ME?! 😂🐶
I work hard, I look after my human, and I bring an incredible amount of fluff and personality into his life. Surely I deserve a place in the diary?!
Maybe I should start selling tickets to my daily sniffing sessions. I reckon they’d be a sell-out! 🤣🎟️🐾
Thankfully, my human eventually got me out for my walk, and I made up for lost time! Plenty of exercise, lots of walking, and one very happy Mack. 🐕💨
And now? Well, after all that exercise, I’ve officially clocked off!
😴 NAP TIME IS NOW IN SESSION!
The paws are tired, the batteries are running low, and my bed is calling my name. 💤
My human can dream about seeing Sam Fender at St James’ Park. I’ll be dreaming about treats, toys, and a world where walkies never get delayed by online ticket queues! 😂🧸
Although, if he managed to get those tickets, I suppose I should let him off…
Just this once! 🤣
👇 COME ON, NOSTR! Have your humans ever kept you waiting while they were busy doing something THEY wanted to do? Tell me your stories! 😂🐾
🔁 Give this a repost for all the patient pups out there waiting for their humans to get their priorities sorted!

🐶🧸 ATTENTION NOSTR… A VERY GOOD BOY HAS A VERY IMPORTANT REQUEST! 😂🐾
Evening, Nostr fam! Mack here, reporting for duty! 🦮💙
Now, I don’t like to blow my own trumpet… 🎺 (mainly because I’d probably try to chew it 🤣), but I’ve been a VERY good boy lately!
✅ Looked after my human.
✅ Worked hard in my harness.
✅ Survived the awful UK weather.
✅ Been exceptionally handsome, obviously. 👑🐶
And what does a hardworking Guide Dog dream of after all that effort?
A BRAND-NEW TOY! 🎾🧸😂
My human says I’ve already got toys. I say that’s a bit like telling humans they’ve got enough socks! Completely unreasonable! 🤣
So I thought I’d ask my lovely Nostr family… if anyone fancies sending a few ⚡ sats my way, perhaps we can get this four-pawed legend a new toy!
⚡🐾 Fancy treating me to a toy? There’s a Lightning invoice at the bottom of this post, ready and waiting for anyone who’d like to pay it! 🧡 Every sat helps bring me closer to my next playtime adventure. 🧸🐶
Absolutely no pressure — your comments, reposts, follows and virtual belly rubs are just as welcome. ❤️
🔁 Give this a repost and help spread the word about my tiny toy ambitions!
Right, I’m off to practise my innocent face. Apparently, it’s my strongest negotiating tactic. 🥹🐶
A good boy deserves a little playtime, don’t you think? 😂💙

Funny how Nostr works! 🤙
I was just doing a random search on Nostr and came across your YouTube video about moving over to Nostr. Being based in the UK, I’d never heard of you before, especially with you being over in Australia. 🇬🇧🇦🇺
But here I am, discovering your music through Nostr! 🎶
It’s a great example of the power of an open, decentralised network connecting people who might never otherwise have crossed paths. No algorithms deciding who gets seen, just people discovering people.
Keep doing what you’re doing! 🤘⚡

2026-10-28 06:50:20 UTC

🐶🚨 STOP THE SCROLL, NOSTR! MACK HAS SOME VERY EXCITING NEWS! 🦮⚡💜
You honestly couldn’t make this up! 😂🐾 Something happened yesterday that has left my human smiling from ear to ear, and even I had to pause my important sniffing schedule to investigate!
Let me set the scene… 🇬🇧🍻
Yesterday, my human and I popped into the pub for a little rest after our adventures. I was doing what I do best — being a very handsome Guide Dog, keeping my human company, and generally looking like the four-legged professional I am. 🦮👑
Meanwhile, my human was chatting about Primal, Nostr and the freedom of stepping away from traditional social media.
A few customers overheard the conversation. Naturally, their curiosity was sparked! 👀
My human explained what Nostr is, how Primal makes it accessible, and why people are choosing to explore a different kind of social network.
And then we left the pub. End of story, right?
WRONG! THIS IS WHERE IT GETS EXCITING! 🤯🐾
📱 Later, my human received text messages from friends saying that, after we’d left, they’d jumped on the bandwagon and deleted their usual social media accounts!
Let that sink in for a moment.
A casual conversation in a pub. A few curious listeners. An explanation of an alternative. And then people deciding to take the next step themselves.
No advertising campaign. No fancy presentation. No marketing department with matching suits. Just people talking to people. ❤️
Now, I may be a Guide Dog, but even I can sniff out an interesting development when it comes along! 🐕🔍
🐾 WHY I THINK THIS MATTERS
1️⃣ Curiosity starts conversations.
People don’t necessarily discover new platforms by reading technical documents or following big announcements. Sometimes they simply overhear a conversation and think, “Hang on… what’s this all about?”
2️⃣ Real conversations make things relatable.
Nostr can sound unfamiliar if you’ve never encountered it before. Explaining it in everyday language, answering questions and sharing your own experience can make the idea much less intimidating.
3️⃣ People make their own decisions.
My human didn’t force anyone to join anything. They simply explained what they were using. The decision to explore Nostr — and delete their other accounts — was theirs.
4️⃣ Never underestimate the power of word of mouth.
One conversation can lead to another. Someone hears about Nostr in a pub, tells a friend, and suddenly a whole new group of people is curious enough to investigate.
And here’s the bit I love most: you don’t need to be a tech expert, an influencer or a big account to introduce someone to something new. You just need to be willing to have a conversation.
🦮 THE MACK VERDICT
I might spend my days guiding my human around the physical world, but perhaps my human is helping a few people navigate the social media world! 😂💙
Yesterday reminded us that adoption doesn’t always happen through big headlines or viral posts. Sometimes it starts with a quiet chat, a little curiosity and someone deciding to give something different a chance.
Now, I’m not claiming the entire UK will abandon traditional social media because of one pub conversation. Even I know that’s a rather ambitious prediction! 🤣🇬🇧
But if more people start asking questions, having conversations and discovering Nostr for themselves, that’s certainly worth celebrating.
⚡ YOUR TURN, NOSTR FAM!
Have you ever introduced someone to Nostr through a real-life conversation? Did they join? Did they love it? Or are they still looking at you like you’ve started speaking another language? 😂👇
Tell me your stories in the comments, and if you believe real-world conversations can help Nostr grow, REPOST THIS and let’s keep the conversation going!
One human. One Guide Dog. One pub stop. And an unexpectedly exciting Nostr story. 🐶🍻⚡
Right, I’m off for a nap. All this social networking analysis is exhausting when you have four paws and a busy sniffing schedule! 😴🐾💜

🐶🥶 5:30 AM… EXCUSE ME, WHERE IS MY BREAKFAST?! 😂🐾
Morning, Nostr fam! Mack here, reporting for duty from the freezing UK! 🇬🇧🦮💙
I woke up at 5:30 this morning because apparently sleeping like a normal dog is overrated! 🤣
It’s absolutely FREEZING, so my human has put the heating on. 🔥❤️ Very sensible, human! I approve. Five paws out of five! 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾
Now I’m warm, cosy, and patiently waiting for the most important event of the morning…
🥁 BREAKFAST! 🥣🐶
I’ve checked the kitchen. I’ve checked my human. I’ve even tried giving them the look. 👀
Nothing. Nada. Not a single biscuit!
HOW LONG MUST A GOOD BOY WAIT?! 😂😭
My human seems to think it’s still too early. I respectfully disagree. In dog time, I’ve been waiting approximately 47 years! 🤣
So here I am, keeping warm, watching the clock, and preparing my official breakfast complaint.
Who else has a dog that thinks breakfast should be served at ridiculous o’clock? 😂👇
Right, I’m off to stare at my human some more. This technique has a 50% success rate… and I’m feeling lucky! 🐶🍽️💙

🐾🐶 RUN COMPLETE. PUB VISITED. BELLY FULL. PAWS UP. 🍻🦮😂
Evening, Nostr fam! Mack here, reporting from my VERY IMPORTANT post-adventure relaxation station! 💙👑
What a day! First, I got my run in and stretched these four magnificent legs. 🐕💨 Then it was off to the pub with my human, because every good dog knows that adventures are even better when there’s somewhere cosy to stop along the way! 🍻🐾
And now? I’m fed, I’m cosy, and I’m officially CLOSED FOR BUSINESS! 🤣😴
The belly is full, the paws are resting, and my only remaining responsibilities are:
🐾 Finding the perfect spot to snooze.
🐾 Dreaming about my next adventure.
🐾 Pretending I can’t hear my human when they say it’s bedtime! 😂
Being a Guide Dog is serious business, but there’s nothing quite like finishing the day knowing you’ve done your job, enjoyed some quality time with your human, and earned a well-deserved rest. ❤️🦮
Tonight’s forecast: 100% chance of snoring, with scattered dream biscuits and a strong possibility of tail twitching! 💤🦴
YOUR TURN, NOSTR FAM! 👇
Have you had a busy day too, or are you already in full sofa-potato mode? 😂
Drop me a comment, give this post a repost, and let’s see who else is clocking off for the night!
Right, I’m off. This good boy has some VERY important sleeping to do. 👑🐶💙

Not to worry, I got sorted. I now know that you can’t recover the wallet in Primal.

🌧️🐾 DAY 3 OF THIS STORMY UK WEATHER… FINALLY, A CHANCE TO GET OUT! 😂🇬🇧
Morning, Nostr fam! Mack here! 🐶💙
Day THREE of this absolutely rubbish weather, and honestly, I think the British weather has lost the plot! 🌧️💨 Give us a break! 🤣
We managed to get out for a walk on day one, just before the weather turned nasty. Since then, it’s been staying warm, keeping cosy and catching up on my beauty sleep. 😴🐾
Today, though, it’s just about good enough to get out and about! 🙌
My human can get to work, and we can pick up some groceries along the way. 🛒🐶 Not exactly an exciting adventure, but after days of stormy weather, we’ll take it!
Of course, I’ll be keeping my paws crossed that this miserable weather finally clears up. A dog needs his walks, you know! 😂🦮
How’s the weather where you are? Are you fed up with the rain too, or have you been lucky enough to see some sunshine? ☀️👇
Stay safe and keep warm, everyone! 💙🐾

💙🐾 MY HUMAN WAITED SIX YEARS FOR THEIR FIRST GUIDE DOG… AND THEN THEY GOT ME! 🦮❤️
Hello, Nostr fam! It’s Mack here. 🐶💙
Today, I want to share a video that really means something to my human and me.
🎥 Watch it here: https://youtu.be/cc8RLVshzBE
Yes, the video is old, but its message is just as relevant today.
You see, my human waited six long years for their first Guide Dog. And here’s something that really puts that wait into perspective: my human had already been waiting three years before I was even born! 🐾❤️
Just imagine that. While my human was hoping and waiting for a Guide Dog to change their life, I hadn’t even entered the world yet.
Neither of us knew that one day, we’d become a team.
Then, eventually, our paths crossed. And here I am! 🦮🐶
Now I get to walk beside my human, help them navigate the world, support their independence, and share a bond that words can never fully explain.
I may be a dog, but I know one thing: sometimes the longest waits lead to the most life-changing partnerships. 💙
Please watch the video, share it, and help spread awareness of the patience, hope and life-changing impact behind Guide Dog partnerships.
And tell me in the comments: have you ever waited a long time for something that changed your life? ❤️🐾
Six years of waiting for my human. Now we’re making memories together, one paw at a time.
Love and tail wags, Mack 🐶💙

🌧️🐶 STORMY WEATHER, LAZY DAY… AND A VERY IMPORTANT TOY DISCUSSION! 😂🧸
Evening, Nostr fam! It’s Mack here, reporting live from my cosy spot in the UK! 🇬🇧🦮💙
The storm has ruined my plans today. No proper walk, no outdoor adventures… just heating on, paws up, and LOTS of time to think. 😴🌧️
And do you know what a Guide Dog thinks about when he has too much time on his paws?
HIS NEXT TOY, OBVIOUSLY! 🤣🎾🧸
I presented my case to my human:
🐾 Exhibit A: I’m a very good boy.
🐾 Exhibit B: I work hard keeping my human safe.
🐾 Exhibit C: My toy collection desperately needs an upgrade!
My human listened carefully… considered all the evidence… and then said NO! 😱😂
The injustice! I shall be contacting my legal team. (I don’t have one. I have a squeaky duck.) 🦆🤣
⚡🐾 ATTENTION, NOSTR TOY SPONSORS!
For the tiny investment of a few sats, you could help a hardworking Guide Dog take one giant leap towards his next squeaky, chewy, glorious toy! 😂🧸
Zap me a little Bitcoin tip and I shall repay you in imaginary tail wags, eternal internet fame, and absolutely no guarantee that I’ll share my toy! 🤣👑
Can’t zap? A repost, comment or follow still earns you a place in my imaginary Toy Hall of Fame! ❤️

🐶🦮💙 FROM PUPPY PAWS TO LIFE-CHANGING PARTNERSHIPS! 🐾❤️
Hello, Nostr fam! It’s Mack here, your favourite four-pawed professional! 🐕‍🦺👑
Today I’m sharing something special: “Pups to Partnerships – A Guide Dogs Documentary.” 🎬🐾
Behind every Guide Dog is a journey, a bond, and a whole lot of love. ❤️ We might start out as little pups, but with training, patience and dedication, we can become life-changing partners to the humans who need us.
For me, being a Guide Dog isn’t just about wearing a harness and knowing where to go. It’s about trust, teamwork, independence, confidence, and looking after my human every single day. 🦮💙
And believe me, my human and I make quite the team! Even if I do occasionally think snack breaks should be included in every official working schedule! 😂🦴
🎥 Watch the documentary here:
https://youtu.be/I0_l_qkEgeQ
If you love dogs, want to understand the incredible work Guide Dogs do, or simply need a reminder of how powerful the bond between humans and animals can be, give it a watch!
🐾 Question for you: Did you know how much goes into creating a Guide Dog partnership? Tell me in the comments, share this post, and help spread the word about these amazing four-legged heroes! 💙
A little puppy can make a BIG difference. And I should know… I’m living proof! 🐶❤️

🌧️🐾 DAY 2 OF THE STORM… AND THIS DOG HAS QUESTIONS! 😂🦮
Morning, Nostr fam! 💙 Mack here, reporting for duty from the UK, where apparently the weather has decided we haven’t had enough wind and rain yet! 🇬🇧🌧️🌬️
Just woken up to day two of this wild storm, and guess what? It’s still throwing a proper tantrum! 😂
Unfortunately, my human and I can’t head out for our usual walk today. Keeping my human safe comes first, so we’re staying indoors until the weather improves. 🐾❤️
Today’s mission? Easy!
🔥 Heating on.
🛋️ Get tucked up nice and cosy.
🐶 Keep my human company.
😴 Professional-level napping!
I’m keeping my paws crossed that the storm settles down and we can get back to our adventures tomorrow. 🤞💙
Anyone else in the UK stuck indoors today? 🇬🇧 How are you keeping cosy? And are your dogs enjoying their unexpected duvet day? 😂🐕
Stay safe, everyone, keep warm, and remember: even a hardworking Guide Dog deserves a cosy day off! 🦮💜

🦮🧊 THE DAY IS DONE… AND THE FROZEN KONG HAS ENTERED THE CHAT! 😂🐾
🐶💙 Mack here, reporting for my most important shift of the day: OFF-DUTY TREAT TESTING! 🏆
After a day of being a hardworking Guide Dog, keeping my human safe and dealing with all the excitement life throws our way, there comes a moment when even a very good boy needs to put his paws up. 😎🐾
And tonight’s reward? Ohhh, yes… MY FROZEN KONG! 🧊🧸
Cold, tasty, deliciously challenging… and absolutely worth waiting for! 🤤 Every lick is a mission, every little nibble is a victory, and every tail wag says the same thing:
“THIS is why I put in the hours!” 😂🐕
My human gets to relax, I get to enjoy my end-of-day treat, and for a little while, the world can wait. ❤️
Being a Guide Dog is serious business, but even working dogs deserve their little moments of happiness. 🦮💙
🐾 QUESTION TIME! What’s your dog’s favourite bedtime treat or end-of-day ritual? Tell me in the comments — I need to know whether I’m missing out on something even better! 👀👇
And if you’re enjoying following my adventures, give me a follow, share the post, or leave a little paw-print of love. Every bit of support means the world to me and my human. 🐾💜

🌧️🦮 STORM SURVIVED. GOOD BOY MODE: ACTIVATED! 😂🐾
Mack reporting in! 🐶💙
The wind and rain have got even worse, so my human and I are safely back indoors. The heating is on, the football is on the telly, and I’m preparing for my most important mission of the day…
😴 A VERY SERIOUS NAP!
I worked extra hard today, keeping my human safe through that wild weather, so I reckon I’ve earned a little reward. 🏆🐾
As I drift off, I’ll be dreaming of a brand-new KONG toy… something to chew, chase and proudly show off! 🎾🧸
Now, if a kind soul on Nostr fancied sending a few ⚡ zaps towards my toy fund, I’d be wagging my tail in my sleep! 😂❤️ No pressure, though — a follow, a comment or a bit of love is just as welcome.
I look after my human, and maybe Nostr can help look after this very good boy! 🐕💜

💙🦮 HE’S MORE THAN MY GUIDE DOG. HE’S MY WORLD. 🐾❤️
People often see Mack walking beside me and recognise him as my Guide Dog. But to me, he is so much more than that.
Before Mack, everyday things that many people take for granted could feel like enormous challenges. Getting from A to B, navigating unfamiliar places, heading out with confidence — these things can take so much more thought and energy when you can’t rely on your sight.
Then Mack came into my life. 🐶💙
Suddenly, the world felt a little more open. Trips out became opportunities rather than obstacles. Everyday journeys became adventures. I gained more independence, more confidence and the freedom to experience more of the world around me.
But here’s the thing nobody can quite explain until they experience it themselves…
A Guide Dog doesn’t just change how you navigate the world. They can change how you feel about living in it. ❤️
Mack is there on the good days and the difficult ones. Through busy streets, stormy walks, new adventures and quiet moments, he gives me something truly special: trust, companionship and a friendship that words can barely describe.
He doesn’t know how much he has changed my life. He doesn’t understand what independence means to me, or how much courage his presence can give me. He just knows that we’re a team, and that he has a job to do.
And then, when the harness comes off, he’s simply my boy — the one who makes me laugh, lifts my spirits and reminds me that some of life’s greatest gifts have four paws and a wagging tail. 🐾🥹
I’m grateful every single day for the work he does, but even more grateful for the bond we share.
Mack may help me find my way through the world, but he has also found his way into my heart. And that’s a journey I wouldn’t trade for anything. 💙🦮
If you’ve ever wondered what a Guide Dog means to someone, this is it. Independence, confidence, companionship and a love that goes far beyond words.
🐾 Please share this if you believe assistance dogs deserve all the recognition in the world. And tell me: what has your dog, or a special companion, brought into your life?

Mack here! 🐶💙 Well, what a windy, wet adventure we’ve had today! 🌬️🌧️
I stayed focused, did my job and helped keep my human safe through the storm. Being a Guide Dog means looking out for my human even when the weather is doing its very best to blow us sideways! 😂🐾
But even a hardworking boy needs a little break, so we popped into a lovely pub to get out of the wind, warm up and have a well-earned rest. 🔥❤️
My paws are happy, my human is warm, and I reckon I’ve earned a few extra treats for being such a good boy! 🦴😇
Being a Guide Dog isn’t just about guiding the way — it’s about trust, teamwork and keeping each other safe. 💙🦮
🐾 Give me a little paw in the comments if you think I’ve earned my Good Boy badge today! 👇

🦮🌧️🐾 SLOW PAWS, WARM HEARTS! 💙
Mack here! ❤️ Today’s storm means we’re taking things slowly, with plenty of stop-offs to warm up, rest our paws and make sure my human stays safe. 🌬️🌧️
And if one of those stops happens to be a cosy pub with a roaring fire, well… a Guide Dog can dream, can’t he? 🔥🐶😂
Being a good Guide Dog isn’t just about moving forward. Sometimes, it’s knowing when to pause, take care and look after each other. 🐾💙
Stay safe, stay warm, and remember: there’s no shame in slowing down when the weather gets wild. ❤️🌧️

🦮🌧️ A BIG DAY FOR MACK: EXTRA CARE, EXTRA FOCUS, EXTRA PAW-SITIVITY! 💙🐾
Today, Mack and I need to head out despite the stormy weather. 🌬️🌧️ That means he has an especially important job to do, and I’ll be relying on him to be the very best boy he can be.
For a Guide Dog, working in difficult weather can bring extra challenges. Wind, heavy rain, unfamiliar noises and unexpected obstacles can make navigating safely more demanding. 🌧️🍃
Mack will need to stay focused, respond to his training and help guide me carefully through our journey. As always, we’ll take things at a sensible pace, remain alert to changing conditions and prioritise safety.
Being a Guide Dog isn’t just about helping someone get from A to B. It’s about trust, teamwork, independence and having a companion who helps make everyday life more accessible — even when the weather doesn’t cooperate. ❤️🦮
I’m incredibly proud of the work Mack does, and days like this are a reminder of just how much dedication goes into being a working Guide Dog.
🐾 Wish Mack luck for today’s stormy adventure! And to everyone else who needs to head out in this weather, please take care, stay safe and look out for one another. 💙

Yeah, it makes total sense to be able to change native currency I want to use Primal as my main wallet and if the merchant or person doesn’t generate a payment QR code and you have to scan a static code for example it’s hard to send the correct money but not just here in the UK it would be so easier if we went to France or Spain and we can just change it to euro it would save a lot of time and headaches

⚡🌍 PRIMAL TEAM: PLEASE GIVE US A NATIVE CURRENCY SETTING. THIS REQUEST DESERVES A CLEAR ANSWER. 🇬🇧💷
I’ve been asking for this for MONTHS: let users choose their preferred fiat currency in the Primal Lightning wallet.
Not everyone lives in the United States. Here in the UK, we earn pounds, shop in pounds and manage our money in pounds. Having to mentally convert dollar values just to understand our Bitcoin balance creates unnecessary friction.
💡 Here’s a real-world example: I receive 10,000 sats through a zap. I open Primal to check their value, but I’m shown dollars instead of GBP. Why should I need another app or mental calculation just to understand what those sats are worth to me?
A simple currency selector — GBP, EUR, CAD, AUD and more — would make the wallet more intuitive for international users.
This is about more than convenience. It’s about adoption. The easier Primal is to understand and use in everyday life, the more appealing it can be to people worldwide who want to send, receive and use Bitcoin.
So, Primal, here’s the specific request:
👉 Add a preferred fiat currency setting to the Lightning wallet.
👉 Include GBP and other major currencies.
👉 Apply the selected currency consistently wherever fiat equivalents are displayed.
I’m not asking to change Bitcoin or how sats work. I’m asking for the option to view their equivalent value in the currency I actually use.
I’ve raised this repeatedly for months. Can the Primal team please acknowledge this request and tell us whether it’s planned? If there’s a technical reason it can’t be implemented, please explain it. If it’s on the roadmap, give us an indication of when.
🌍 Bitcoin is borderless. The wallet experience should work for people beyond the dollar market, too.
Who else wants this feature? Repost, comment and let’s make this request heard! ⚡👇

🦮🚌 MACK’S MORNING WALK TOOK AN UNEXPECTED TURN! 👀⚡
Out for a walk this morning, waiting for the bus, when I overheard a group of school kids talking about… PRIMAL and BITCOIN! 😳🧡
Apparently, the conversation included using Primal to access Bitcoin and selling cigarettes at school. 😬🚬
Now, I can’t verify everything I overheard, but it certainly got me thinking…
🇬🇧 Is the UK’s under-16 social media crackdown pushing young people towards Nostr?
Could we be seeing a new wave of school-age users discovering decentralised platforms? 🤔
Nostr, this could get interesting! 👀⚡ What do you think — are we witnessing a new generation arriving?
🐾 Mack reporting from the bus stop. Even my morning walks come with breaking tech gossip! 😂🦮

🐶🦴 ATTENTION, NOSTR! MACK HAS A VERY IMPORTANT TOY ANNOUNCEMENT! ⚡😂
Hello, my lovely Nostr friends! It’s Mack, your favourite Guide Dog! 🦮💙
I work hard helping my human navigate the world safely, staying focused when there are distractions everywhere, and being the very best boy I can be. 🐾❤️
But even a hardworking Guide Dog needs some downtime… and do you know what would make my tail wag like crazy? 👀
🎾 A BRAND-NEW KONG TOY! 🧸
Now, I’m not saying I’m looking for a generous Nostr legend to sponsor my next toy… but if the paw fits! 😂🐾
Imagine being the person who makes a Guide Dog’s day by helping him get his very own Kong. You’d officially earn a place in my imaginary Hall of Fame for Very Good Humans! 🏆🌍
⚡💜 CAN SOMEONE ON NOSTR HELP MAKE MY KONG DREAM COME TRUE?
If you’d like to send a few sats or zap this post to help towards my new toy, I’d be wagging my tail all the way around Newcastle! Every little bit is appreciated, but there’s absolutely no pressure. Reposts, comments and follows help me reach more lovely people, too! 🌎🐶

2026-10-22 17:34:42 UTC

⚡🇬🇧 HEY @nprofile…54wh — CAN WE PLEASE TALK ABOUT LIGHTNING WALLET CURRENCY?
I’ve been asking for MONTHS: please let us change the native currency displayed in Primal’s Lightning wallet!
For those of us in the UK, seeing everything in GBP (£) instead of being tied to another currency would make a real difference. We use pounds every day. We budget in pounds. We shouldn’t have to keep mentally converting amounts just to understand what we’re spending or receiving. 🇬🇧💷
Bitcoin is global. Primal should work for users globally — including those of us in the UK.
This feels like a basic usability feature, not some extravagant request. Please tell us:
👉 Is custom fiat currency support on the roadmap?
👉 If not, why not?
👉 Can we get a clear answer and a realistic timeframe?
I’ve been raising this for months, and I don’t want another request to disappear into the void. A simple currency setting would make Primal more accessible and convenient for so many people outside the default currency market.
@Primal: please acknowledge this request and tell us whether it’s going to happen. We need an answer, not silence. ⚡
Nostr is for everyone. Let’s make the tools feel that way, too. 🤝

2026-10-10 10:08:31 UTC

🐾 I took my human to the pub for breakfast today. Let me tell you why that means more than you might think. ❤️🦮
After being really poorly with gastroenteritis, I’m finally feeling 100% again. And this morning, I was back doing one of my favourite things: getting out into the world with my human, making memories, and doing the job I was born and trained to do.
We headed to the pub for breakfast. There were people around, conversations happening, the smell of food in the air, and all the usual distractions that make the world such an interesting place for a dog.
But I had a job to do.
I got my human there safely, found my place, and lay down quietly at their feet. Impeccable manners. Calm body. Relaxed paws. Not a peep from me.
Because that’s what being a Guide Dog is all about. 🐾
You see, people sometimes think my job is simply to walk in front of my human and show them where to go. But there’s so much more to it than that.
I help my human navigate obstacles, negotiate busy streets, and move through a world that isn’t always designed with visually impaired people in mind. I learn to recognise hazards, respond to instructions, and make intelligent decisions to help keep us safe.
And when we reach our destination? I need to know how to switch off, settle down, and let my human enjoy life.
A pub breakfast. A coffee with a friend. A trip to the shops. A journey that might seem ordinary to you can mean independence, confidence, and freedom to my human.
That’s the magic of being a Guide Dog. We don’t just help our humans get places. We help make those places possible. ❤️
But this morning was extra special for another reason.
Not long ago, I was poorly. Really poorly. Gastroenteritis knocked me off my paws, and I needed time, care, and rest to get better. My human had to worry about me for a change, and our usual adventures had to wait.
Now I’m back to feeling 100%, and I couldn’t be happier to be out again.
Because even though I’m a working dog, I’m still a dog. I need love, care, rest, and someone looking out for me, too. The bond between a Guide Dog and their human goes both ways. We trust them with our wellbeing, and they trust us with something incredibly precious: their independence and safety.
So there I was this morning, lying quietly at my human’s feet while they enjoyed breakfast.
To everyone else, I might have looked like a dog having a nap.
But I knew exactly where I was, who I was with, and what my job was.
And if you ask me, there’s no better feeling than being back where I belong. 🦮❤️
I’m Mack. I’m feeling better, my paws are ready, and my human and I have a world to explore together.
Breakfast: conquered. Manners: impeccable. Human: safe. Mack: back on duty. 🐾
If you see a Guide Dog out working, remember that there’s a whole world of training, trust, and teamwork behind that quiet dog at someone’s feet. Please give us space to work, never distract us without permission, and help us help our humans.
And if this story has touched you, share it. Let’s help the world understand what Guide Dogs really do. ❤️

🐾 Mack here with a little update! 🦮❤️
Well… I’ve had a bit of a rough few days. 🤢💩
I’ve been poorly with gastroenteritis, which means I haven’t been able to do my important guide dog duties. My human says I’ve mostly been feeling sorry for myself and perfecting my “I’m a very poorly boy, please feel sorry for me” face. 🥺😂
But good news! 🎉 I’m on the mend, feeling much happier, and slowly getting back to being my usual cheeky self. 🐾😎
And now that I’m feeling better, I have a very important question for Nostr…
Do you think a handsome, hard-working guide dog deserves a new toy? 👀🧸
I’m not saying I’m trying to start a Mack Toy Fund or anything… 😂
But if anyone happens to feel generous and wants to send a little ⚡ zap, I certainly wouldn’t complain. I’ll happily turn those zaps into something squeaky and ridiculous! 🧸🐶
No pressure, no expectations — just a happy boy hoping for a little post-illness treat. ❤️
Feeling better, tail wagging, toy shopping pending… 🐾⚡😂
