Yeah. But the logic is to simply set aside a bitcoin portion of what can be considered an asset and also have some of it elsewhere as money at the same time.

Merchants @nprofile…rc2s circular economy would maybe say otherwise 😃. Circular economies are doing a nice push to it being used as money though 😉

Last month, a litre of kerosene in Nairobi was 191.38. Today it's 219.87. 🔥
EPRA's own numbers, one month apart. Petrol went from 214.03 to 226.96. Diesel, 217.86 to 227.76. Everyone is arguing about petrol at the pump — matatu fares, drivers, conductors. Loud arguments! 🚌
But kerosene rose by 28.49 bob a litre. Almost 15% in one month. And kerosene doesn't argue. It's the jiko in the kitchen, the light a kid does homework under, the last option in the house that already cut everything else. The steepest hike landed on the people with the thinnest margin. 🍲
A driver can pass the fare to a passenger. But that mama boiling githeri for four children can't pass anything to anyone. She just pays. Quietly. That's the part that doesn't trend. 🤫
When the price of everything can be reset in one afternoon by a statement you weren't consulted on, you learn to keep something aside that can't be repriced. That's not financial advice. It's just what this month taught again. 🙏

Well I understand. Am Kenyan. Social interaction is like a daily routine here but I get where you're coming from. If it were online I would have loved to join but am sure it'll be worth it.
