I am all about my local #NoKings rallies and I do show up - hold signs, etc..
That said, I worry that the good-hearted organizers dont quite yet understand the nature of the threat. They want people 'register' to help gauge turnout, follow-up on fund-raising, etc.
But these are #Nazis with #Spyware, state-of-art #surveillance, and access to all the existing databases, facial-recognition, etc
I dont think we need to make it even easier for them. I do not register for rallies.

I almost think that this what some of the brighter folks (Miller, Vance?) in the #Fascist #TrumpRegime are hoping for.
Seems like its only a matter of time until we see these #idiots kick in the wrong door - and a well-armed occupant takes out a few of them. t\The resulting carnage would be all they need to invoke the #InsurrectionAct.
Full scale military deployment of US troops to "quell the violent uprising".

I have arrived at a moment in life, Where I am surrounded by s*** I thought I needed at some point for some reason... Now it is a burden. Getting rid of certain things is actually quite a bit of work.
I will say I don't have the Spendy things some people accumulate... But certainly as you move from middle years to senior years my advice is to practice austerity...

#Billionaires should be #taxed out of existence..
And the weird thing is they would still be super rich - AND - dumping all that tax money back into the economy would generate even more revenue for the super wealthy that own all the s*** we rely on...
It would juice the economy like a 2 or 3% fed rate cut..
Then they would be taxed again... more money dumped into the economy, they get rich again... It is a virtuous cycle.

#Fascism runs on #ignorance and #magicalThinking
The upside- if there is one - might be that science doesn't stop just because the #Fascist #Theofascist #Oligarchy defunds it.
They tried/convicted Galileo for heresy - and he lived out his life under house arrest- but the earth is still orbiting the sun, not the other way around..
But wow, it sure is depressing to face retiring into the dark ages instead of the enlightenment...

Yes. Serious question: How do I do this with new cars. I need a newer car. My 34 y/o Acura is showing its age.
There are a lot of interesting new cars, EV, Hybrids, etc.
BUT I am an older InfoSec guy.
I want zero connectivity. No GPS, no Bluetooth, no RF connectivity of any sort. No "Keyless" entry.
I have a smart phone. It has all the connectivity I desire or need.
I understand that an EV needs firmware, but that can updated manually/locally.
Thoughts?
