Made a great decision today and ginger snap cookies. Mmm, glad I made them chewy 🤤

Grilled cheese sammy with tomato soup might be one of my favorite snacks.
Using tomatoes from the garden since it’ll be the last of them till next year.
I forgot to take picture of my meal…

Spring time is good time to have the dongchimi.
If I remember correctly, it’s just water, salt, sugar, garlic, fruit, green onions, green pepper, and radish. I might be missing a couple things. One day I will post my mom’s kimchi recipes to @nprofile…vr99
I plan to make a Korean cookbook with all my mom’s recipes. Mostly for my sake. 🤣

We use filtered brita water 👀
Are you guys using fermented shrimp and rice in your kimchi?

If you have daikons ready soon, we like to make ‘cold water kimchi soup’ a.k.a. Dongchimi in the winter season. It’s very refreshing and delicious. You literally just put it outside to ferment in the cold.

I’m glad I caught all the warmer weather before the upcoming rain week. It’s been so warm out!

Watched my mother cook all my life. She never taught me, but my mother-in-law taught me how to cook and bake when I was living with my parents-in-law and husband.
Now I know the southern food secrets. :)

You discover people who come up on your feed or interact with you by looking at their profile individually and decide if you enjoy their page. It’s a slow and grueling journey.
You’ll find them though.
I honestly don’t put in the effort anymore to add everyone anymore. 👀
The spam and reposts get out of hand.

I’m so lost. Not sure what to do next. I’m sure many others feel the same too.
