I put Linux on an old Mac Pro, and the first thing I did was ask myself, "why did I do that?" And I still can't think of a good answer.

I've been using an older mac mini with sequoia, and have not upgraded the OS because that will break a whole bunch of plugins and accessory software that I don't want to buy needless upgrades for. Like you said, it's not broken, and probably functioning just as well as any newer stuff.
Been using Reaper DAW for a few years with no complaints. It even plays well with most of my old Cubase vst plugins, CLAP, LV2, etc.

When you post your landscape shots, I always try to guess exactly where you are around the valley. But the direction of shadows in this one got me stymied. I know I have driven past that place.
As is customary for this time of year, we are watching football while trimming OG Kush and Wedding Cake. A small but potent crop this year.

Not to forget some history, and one thing that the town of Mankato, Minnesota is most famous for - the mass hanging of 38 Dakota people in 1862. It was such a popular event they even sold paintings of it. "Not who we are," indeed.

Have you ever noticed... when a person is offered a multi-million dollar job, they always accept the job (and the income), no matter what the job is or how qualified they are? And you never, ever hear anybody say, "I don't need that much money."

ok, fedi electronics peeps... I found this 7-inch CRT thing in an estate junk pile, and thought about figuring out if, a)can I get it to work, and b)is it worth anything to anybody. When I search with the model number, web goes huh? But the front masking plastic is still on it, so it probably works. Zip-tied to its custom cardboard box.

I'm not at all sure that having a "creator" is a requirement for universes.

My brother, who has run a successful business and is clearly no idiot, freely admitted to me that he had consciously abandoned logic in favor of the "security" afforded his familoy by his faith and community. And that in itself sounds quite illogical to me.

Great shot! Rather painterly, and not only that, your post has _AltText_, as so many good photogs do not bother to include, and best of all, you post where the photos were shot, unlike so many landscape photo posters. Following now, thanks.

I just meant the meme is awful, not the principle, and I stand by that.

Fuck everybody who lives on this road and refuses to be inconvenienced to change their fucking address. Heaven forbid if the winery has to order some new marketing brochures.
