Here is Leonard Nimoy reading There Will Come Soft Rains from the Internet Archive. Absolutely devastating.

Holy cats, that's worrisome. It's also burning tokens to do this secret stuff that benefits nobody but Anthropic.
As the article says, makes one wonder what else is going on behind the user's back and/or what's coming next.

It's not illegal (yet?!) but be aware it still contains caffeine. So keep your bedtime consumption below 12 cups and you'll be fine.

Snort. Happy to help! :D
If it's useful to know, firefox doesn't like tedium.co either so it's not a subdomain issue. And this time it's a plain vanilla build of Win10 LTSC with newly installed firefox, so no extensions or malware solutions installed.

Windows 10, Chrome 147.0.7727.138 (Official Build) (64-bit)
4K monitor (3840x2160) with Windows zoom set to 175% ...which might be the problem? But you gotta do that on big monitors otherwise the text is microscopic.

Ooooh, very cool.
Looks like you have some scaling issues with the landing page though? My browser is not zoomed and it's truncating top & bottom.
I have to zoom out to 80% to see the whole thing.

Seriously don't know what to make of this. Rogue employees, sailing under the Microsoft flag? Fake employees?
The app itself is terrifying and stupid. I can easily imagine naïve users interested in AI installing this thing and forgetting about it.

> Trump is actually crystal clear on who pays the price of his tariffs
He is NOW. Back in January/February 2025 he "knew" tariffs were paid for by the country of origin. Because he's an idiot.
But somebody in his circle he trusts confronted him with facts and now he's terrified everybody will see how stupidly wrong he was. That's why he bullied Jeff Bezos, and why he's trying to bully Walmart.

The article doesn't doesn't differentiate between the classic AI used in radiology and LLM slop.
It does do a decent job of describing how radiology AI works, but just leaves it there. Casual (non technical) readers are left with the impression that the people yelling about AI stealing jobs are wrong. Unpaywalled here.

Well that makes sense. Radiology AI is not generative LLM, it's neural networks trained to identify patterns. You still need humans in that particular loop to verify the findings.

Safe to assume a decent malware solution (e.g. Malware Bytes) would guard against this?
Not the WIN+R or Powershell command, but the moment that .exe payload hits the system it'd get detected, right?
For that matter, wouldn't UAC block installation?
