If I wanted to make a Linux desktop app, what is a good tech stack that will not require hundreds of libraries of dependencies? I want something light, and compatible with Wayland.
I was thinking rust, but it seems to not be super straight-forward to get rust libs installed all the time.
GTK or QT better? I am coming from mobile dev so I am in need of education.

#nixos flakes are incredibly difficult to understand. Is there a good explainer somewhere?

IMO, the biggest reason religion is incompatible with government, and a talking point I don't see discussed, is if you believe in an afterlife you can justify doing all sorts of horrific things to people with the reasoning that if they were truly worth saving, they will be redeemed in heaven or whatever.
And that is pretty messed up.

I am about to hit the road to Canada. We are taking the kids up to see Niagara Falls.
I've never been either so it's gonna be fun.
See you soon 🇨🇦

@nprofile…xlhv it just popped up on my recommendations and... I can't stop watching.
It is the most unhinged thing I think I've seen since Kung Pow.

I question my intelligence sometimes. I have spent the last week debugging why my navmesh tests were giving me such weird/mixed results.
It turns out, you can't have your navmesh occupy the same space as your collider. It makes sense in retrospect, but it wasn't super intuitive. I was making a mesh in blender, paint selecting my walkable faces, duplicating the faces to a new object and adding `-navmesh` and my agents would sometimes navigate, sometimes not, and sometimes vibrate in place.
New workflow, once I make my nav faces, I need to move them UP slightly (like 0.01 units) so they don't overlap the collider. :blobfacepalm:

I finally found a video of someone fully disassembling a New Nintendo 3DS (non-XL) Sharing in case anyone is interested.

I never appreciated how much more popular the New Nintendo 3DS XL was over the base NN3DS.
I am having a hard time finding much of anything in terms of replacement parts or guides.

Are there any trustworthy places to get official (or at least official quality) New Nintendo 3DS replacement shells? I have a crack in mine and I want something fairly high quality to replace it.

If I require a chromium based browser for things, but I definitely don't want Chrome with a (tm) at the end. What is the best option?
I am currently using Chromium and it seems ok, but I want to know if there is something better?

Are there any good cloud storage services like google drive that are built on FOSS or at least work well with both linux and macos?
Ideally id like to be able to use it without messing with Docker or Kubernetes.
