@nprofile…fu0r when EU will take care of Google monopolistic practicies?
There is almost no way to buy Android phone without GoogleMobileServices (GMS) GMS so intrusive that even EU countries GOVs Apps are dependend on them. Same with banking Apps.
GooglePay in GMS killed other contactless payment options. The ones that remains are dependent on GMS.
I'm so old that I remember when Microsoft was punished for preinstaling InternetExplorer. What Google is doing is worse.

@nprofile…ulx7 The consent request should have no consents selected by default.
This is insane that you need to opt out instead opt in for dozen of the checkboxes of ads brokers.

My current setup is one time acces to GrapheneOSCameraApp and one time access to GoogleCameraApp. When I open GrapheneOS CameraApp and grant acces (one time) to camera it will ask me to unblock camera access but it will not block it after closing or even 1 minute after.
Also GrapheneOSCameraApp is asking me for one time access permisions every time I launch it but fr example GoogleCamera take advantage of this 1 minute access after closing and do't ask at all when relunched.

The issue with that standard is that if I grant acces for example to CameraApp and open anorher App that can also access the camera it can use it in the same time and even up to 1minute after I close CameraApp even if I will not grant an access.
My sugestiom was to make access that is granted only for one app and revoke it after closing the app. Right now any app that can access camera will 'benefit' of enabling camera by another app.

How about one more cool feature?
Right now if User block mic, camera or disable location (by the toggle in quick settings) and the App ask about access for one of those it will reamain available/enabled after the APP closes. It will be great if it will return to the state before and the access was granted only for this specific App temporary.
How can it work? I will explain in next post.

I think that communities (GrapheneOS and Rossmann) don't have full view of that case and it never received transparent presentation.
Even if both attacks each other.
IDK if approach you chosen is the best way and I have some doubt's.
Maybe the private message to Louis will be more approperiate? Just to solve all issues between both sides without public.
Personally I don't like washing dirt's in public. But this is only my humble opinion.
We are only people and we all have flaws.

Looking at new Samsung S26, will GrapheneOS consider to implement simillar privacy technology (even from Samsung) to the screen od GraphenePhone?
