Great list!
By the way, #Nostrid is not only for Windows & Android. It also runs in Linux, MacOS and web/PWA. (It runs in iOS too but there are no binaries yet, you must build it yourself)

It's a known issue related to .NET WASM apps in Safari: https://github.com/dotnet/runtime/issues/61373 😢

That would be great! You can send me a message and we can continue there if you want. Thanks.

Seguiste a alguien?

Currently it's very basic: it simply picks up relays according to the priority specified in the settings. But the idea is to make it smarter. We aim to add some elements from the gossip protocol too.

You can run Nostrid in your local device and configure it to use a proxy (it can be Tor or any other): https://github.com/lapulpeta/Nostrid/blob/master/Doc/HowToSetupProxy.md

The web version is slow to load because it has too many assets. We haven't had the time to optimize it. The best experience is using the desktop or mobile app (only for Windows and Android right now).

Tbh low pow or no pow is not very different. I believe the sweet spot is between 15 and 25 depending on your hardware.

2023-01-31 19:08:06 UTC

- reply

That's a very high pow target. Try a lower value like 20, for example.

What do you mean? You can't upload an image? Or what?

2023-01-27 19:02:13 UTC

Is that your site? I appear as a dev there (which is correct) but our client Nostrid doesn't appear there. It's a desktop client for Windows, a mobile client for Android, and a web client. It would be great if you could add it!

It's not possible right now. In any case it's recommended NOT to enter a private key and instead use an extension like nos2x.

✅Nostrid v1.11 is out! This version doesn't bring any new visible functionality but it has a big change under the hood: a new database engine (Sqlite). This will help us improve the performance especially during high network activity like we're experiencing since a few days ago. There is a lot to be done, but we already took a huge step.
