Yesterday I attended an event at the Parlamentarische Gesellschaft, the German parliamentarians club
Organised by Weltethosinstitut Nils Goldschmidt, Manuel Hartung, Peter Kirchschläger & @npub1nda…hwys spoke on "AI", ethics, economy & society
Followed by a discussion with the attendees, moderated by Christopher Gohl
The word Mastodon fell regularly & the discussion was a stimulating
Two of my points were the myth of "AI" & the uncontrolled power of TechBros

Gegen jeden Antisemitismus

How to stand up against fascists - the battle of Cable Street
90 years ago, fascists planed a demonstration through London's Jewish quarter. They did not pass.
A mass of people from different social & (anti-) religious backgrounds united under the antifascist resistance's slogan: No pasaran! You will not pass!
They fought with their Jewish friends & neighbours
Knowing that you've to unite against fascism

He said he'd "the feeling he needs them" because you can hear music with them ¯\(°_o)/¯
And saw no problem with #privacy at all - from what he'd said he didn't know the concept...
Got a bit pissed that I asked him, bc he saw it as "his decision" & "freedom" to wear a piece of surveillance tech in his face

Hi,
she says that they're a #network of #tolerance & #AliceWeidel & other #rightwingers are more than welcome & they don't want to be a #leftist #bubble
And that #bluesky is boring bc of blocklists
She claims they have no #bots on #wsocial - which is not true
And they are onto your #ID by #realnameregistration - which is pictured as a protective measure for the user
And… they spin the story that #Twitter was great before #Musk bought is 🙄 & that we need a #european #Alternative

2026-06-16 10:59:39 UTC

#wsocial was announcing a top-down approach to get their #network working & they are doing it
In the #Blick article #AnnaZeiter explains why #AliceWeidel & other #Nazis are welcome to her #socialmedia #platform https://www.blick.ch/digital/anna-zeiter-bringt-twitter-alternative-w-social-auch-alice-weidel-ist-willkommen-id22026157.html

#wsocial is more than problematic
And already has #bots crawling it's #network
Now they show that they are problematic concerning #aesthetics as well & advertise with tasteless #aislop

#realnameregistration is highly dangerous & if the company that wants to have your most private data can't save there net from bots they're not very trustworthy, are they?

Well, not everyone. Some by choice, some by not having access
And nuclear is only low in CO2 if you find a ready build nuclear power plant and a store of ready-to-use nuclear fuel
And do not take any of the storage/treatment of waste into your calculation
And… much more
Nuclear is deadly. And shifts responsibility to later generation that were not asked nor do they profit
We do not even have a form of communication that can exist as long as nuclear is deadly

…and they are trying to bring back #nuclear with #AI …
While #nuclearenergy is not #fossil it not #green at all - but #colonial , #deadly & totally unfair because, like in AI, the #profits are being privatised, the costs are hitting the whole #society & the #planet
But from the point of view of someone believing in #cybernetics or one of its #TESCREAL grandchildren it is great - because in cybernetics EVERY problem will be solved in "the future" by "technology"
