Promises won't matter much when they go insolvent. They're making promises on dreams and AGI cult fervor.

tagging a few experts in these areas out of desperation, please forgive me! @npub1ksf…r6s6 @npub1rc8…nu7f ISP screwed up and my email server has been offline for days; I need a backup MX, or some other solution, and all I have is a cell phone hotspot for connectivity.

2026-07-03 17:18:30 UTC

Anyone out there running a backup MX that I could add my domain to for a few days? My only internet connectivity right now is tethering my phone, and I can't route incoming email server connections that way (afaik). #selfhosting

let's see, how can I get myself #fedihire 'd
Hi! I'm an AuDHD programmer / math teacher / infosec researcher who is looking for an online job! I've done games coding, studied game design / balance, taught PICO-8 and Scratch, hobbied in Blender, contributed to Processing's IDE, earned a JPT1 cert from TryHackMe, and taught a whole lot of kids how to do some math and coding and digital media.
I'd love to get a start on pentesting or other offensive security research with an experienced team who would like a new voice. I learn quickly, I hyperfocus hard on tricky problems, and I have excellent written communication skills. (Yes, I'm willing to write up reports after a security assessment.) I value knowing how things work and helping others know as well.
I am capable of sounding professional, but honestly I'm not going to sound *too* professional right now because a lilttle bit of shitposting voice seems like the only way to ensure that people know you're actually writing down your human thoughts in your own human words these days.
anyway plz send me jobs to apply to or stuff! k thx

how does the iteration go after that first multiplication though?
like is it:
1 x 3315
1 x 2926
1 x 1
...
2 x 3315
2 x 2926
...
or is it:
1 x 3315
2 x 2926
3 x 1
4 x 1
...
or something completely different I'm not seeing yet?

most of the anti-AI posts here are based on valid concerns with the way capital is trying to use it to steamroll creatives and, frankly, human flourishing. I've enjoyed coding genAI works before and right now I'm on the side of "fuck it all, it shouldn't be touched right now" because every system on the market is steeped in theft and bullshit.

I'm seeing a lot of people promoting book piracy in light of the BS ruling re: Internet Archive.
I get it, but, like, keep in mind that most authors you love probably aren't bajillionaires. The publishers are crap but authors earning more than their initial advance is still tied to sales.
May I humbly suggest libraries? Authors still benefit, all libraries deserve your support (not just the IA), physical books are still nice to hold, and there's definitely no possible way that someone could remove the DRM from a library ebook if there were extenuating circumstances. *ahem*
* note: obv if the author is deceased this concern is not relevant, make your own decisions there
