Help pls
My wife is building a health app that’s genuinely private — the kind where the company literally cannot read your data. Not “we promise not to look.” Can’t.
It synthesises your genetics, labs and biomarkers into personalised health guidance, using confidential computing (Maple AI / OpenSecret-style).
She’s hiring a developer with real experience in encryption, secure enclaves, or confidential-compute systems. Non-technical founder, paid work, not a co-founder search.
If that’s you — or you know them — reply or DM 🙏

Could Your Family Recover Your Bitcoin Without You? (JWP126)
Most people who hear that question feel something shift. Because the honest answer is no. Or maybe. Or they haven't really thought about it.
In this episode I introduce the concept of Bitcoin Dependency, and why it's the most under-examined risk in every serious Bitcoin holder's life. If your family cannot recover your Bitcoin without you, you do not have a Bitcoin custody plan. You have a Bitcoin dependency.
I also share the personal story that shapes everything about how I think about this, my father dying suddenly when I was twenty, and seventeen years of figuring out what to do with inherited capital without a roadmap left behind. That experience is the foundation of what I now build for clients: a Family Bitcoin Plan.
If you're holding meaningful Bitcoin, have a family, and haven't built a plan around your custody yet; this episode is for you.

Could your family recover your Bitcoin without you?
Most Bitcoin holders have spent years learning why, how, and when to buy Bitcoin.
Far fewer have spent time preparing their family to recover it if they are no longer there.
If your loved ones cannot recover your Bitcoin without you, your Bitcoin depends on you.
That's what I call a Bitcoin dependency.
You are:
• The password manager
• The recovery procedure
• The documentation
• The inheritance plan
• The technical expert
Remove you, and the system may fail.
I believe Bitcoin Custody Architecture is a critical piece of the puzzle for Bitcoin holders looking to build a Family Bitcoin Plan covering:
• Custody
• Recovery
• Inheritance
• Family preparedness

The AI Stack I'm Running From Home With Three Kids and No Team (JWP 122)
Three months ago, at 4am, my net worth had just halved. Bitcoin had crashed and I'd been heavily exposed. Three kids asleep upstairs, wife asleep. I sat at the laptop and typed one question into ChatGPT: how do I make money?
That rabbit hole became the AI Assessment business I now run, and it became this episode.
This is the actual workflow. The system I copied from my wife. The verification layer that handles AI hallucination. The exact stack producing this podcast — and why I cancelled Buffer this morning. Why the next decade of business building looks nothing like the last one. And the real numbers from real clients: Pete the chartered accountant, $17,400 a month found in a 20-minute call. Mat the landscaper, $1,500 a month sitting in his invoicing alone.
If you run an Australian business and you've known for a while that AI matters but haven't really started — this is for you.

It’s been epic being RSS and Nostr only
Part of a wider plan
- Nostr = where I hang out

Biggest lesson of this bear market:
When using Bitcoin as your primary means of value storage, the volatility to the downside is a risk to never forget, so if you’re ever considering large capex opportunities, such as a renovation, if, and only if, you feel wealthy enough in that moment of decision, you proceed, and you take all the money off the table to ringfence for the project, and manage a predictable cash flow
I didn’t so this… I wish I had

GM
Just at the breakfast table in our hotel, my son and I quietly munching on all the best things
We’re 80 floors up
360 views of Melbourne all around us
Quite incredible seeing the City from up here the past few days
It really gets me thinking
In spite of the clear trend towards big government, over-regulation, too much market intervention, and socialist principles, all of which I am very concerned about in Australia longer-term, and all of which I believe are a handbrake on productivity
The ability of humans to create, meet, trade, build, manage, grow, and flourish, is a miracle
From here you can see trains, planes, boats, buses, cars, motorbikes, and bikes
Roads, a port, an airport, a harbour, bridges, sky scrapers, suburbia, high streets, parks, and sports stadiums
Collaboration, at scale, of self-interested economic actors, building on a set of shared ethics, laws, of which clearly the most important is the bastion of private property
And in lies the key
The right to private property
Which is something that we have to work for, to cherish, to value, educate on, understand, and advocate forever for
People just haven’t dug into what it means
Why it’s important
Indeed, I feel I’ve only just scratched the surface
So cheers to ingenuity, to trade, to entrepreneurship, and the human endeavour
Let’s keep building!

Cloud seeding
Wtf
Without doubt one of the “issues of today” that’s taken me longest to acknowledge
Why would they do that? How is it not public information? Who even cares?
Well on our morning walk to the cafe, it was impossible to miss, as a plane had done a u-turn right above Byron Bay
I am told this area of Australia is targeted for its 1) freedom oriented people 2) the productive farmlands 3) the high speed rail line that is due to be built
In 15 mins the clouds had gone. As if nothing ever happened… right? Weather forecast is for rain… 🤔
Nefarious agenda that surely is only a matter of time before it’s blown wide open (I hope)
Ps - when it rains a lot I notice I feel lethargic, depressed, irritable, sad, it couldn’t be because of what they’re spraying could it?…
