The radical left Democrats are demanding over $1 trillion in funding for their left wing programs, and they want to jam it into a 7 week short term "continuing resolution".
Continuing resolutions (CR) just fund the govt short term while they continue to negotiate details. Biden had 13 CRs during his admin. The Democrats approved a CR just 6 months ago in March.
Republicans have passed a CR thru November 21st in the House. They need a few Democrat votes to reach 60 votes in the Senate.
There is no scenario that exists where Democrats will get they left wing agenda included in a 7 week CR. Yet they have shutdown the govt because their crazy activists are insisting on it.
