He's mean to everyone except my mother/brother, although he did bite my brother today like a good boy.

I literally have one under the bed who's a skitty kitty. She doesn't like the black and white cat, so she's hiding.

2026-09-11 21:22:58 UTC

I got a new heated blanket the other day, so I thought the cat would want to sleep on it, but he's fucked off onto the rug.

2026-09-11 20:58:17 UTC

Took a bath to help with my constant back pain and it didn't help. My brother decided to tell me after I got out that the cats have brough a baby bird in. Another burial.

I think it's always a good thing to have something in common with the person you're with like anime, books or video games. Makes things so much easier and they understand how much it means to you. It's good to find someone who doesn't put you down for being passionate about something. I adore hamsters in general, so Hamtaro was always going to be a favourite and not something like ebichu.

2026-09-07 09:59:35 UTC

- reply

You're 100% not going to believe this, but I was literally talking to my mother about Hamtaro games today while she was doing the garden. I miss retro games and will never fault anyone that decides to pirate them. So many of them are behind a paywall or people on places like ebay charge horrendous amounts for them. Still got a few Nintendo 64 games and 3ds/game boy advance ones.

It's ok. I got a few 2nd hand handheld over the years.

Nintendo is infamous for locking things behind a paywall. They expect you to pay over 40.00 for their online expansion thing to play old games.

Yeah that one.

2026-09-06 12:22:17 UTC

I hope it works great. I beat the first two Golden suns, but I have zero real interest in the 3rd one. I wish so many things weren't locked behind so many paywalls. I'm not willing to pay so much to "rent" a game.

2026-09-06 12:05:58 UTC

- reply

That sounds painful :S I was always hoping they'd re release the first two Golden sun games, but once again Nintendo keeps the games behind a paywall. The only game I've re bought from my childhood in the last few years is Beath of fire 4 and Sims 1/2.

It's always painful to lose a pet. We lost 2 this year and it's miserable. I have the remake from gog I got a month or 2 ago now.

I like the game enough, but I'm not exactly great at it lol I got the other one on Switch this year having never played before. I think they added some new stuff to it and I got the sword of marvels really early on thanks to a chest I stole from some old guy. I now have about 3 of the swords now. I did get owned by the special mini bosses though.

The last game I nearly completed recently was Starocean the second chapter r and I got some other game on the go and have forgotten the name. Think I got them both on sale around the same time.
