@nprofile…53yd @nprofile…06cx @nprofile…7j86 it happens when a massive account like dansups boosts a post for the first time. Server tries to resolve all the new accounts interacting with AP api and gets clogged. Will definitely work on that ;)

I just convinced my local #punks to upload their music on @nprofile…28n3. Here they are:

Give them some love if #midwestemo #emo is your thing!

What project you think #fediverse is missing the most currently? 🤔

Federated portfolio builder for photographers, illustrators and any sort of creatives. Something like #behance but federated and with custom themes. Would you use it?

@nprofile…h0ux oh, i actually like that a lot, PPPond seems nice too. Like poeple having their ponds and filling them with drops of water. Isn't that a bit too abstract tho? This kind of naming enforces entire website communication to be based on this which is both cool and challenging

@nprofile…h0ux haha holy smokes, probably subconsciously because i completely forgot about that website !! And it makes me like it even more 😅

@nprofile…h0ux what you're saying is true but, on the other hand, you are pinning the image/link/whatever to the board which kinda makes sense to me.
It's also a wording stolen from pinterest which people understand i guess? I'm kinda gravitating towards boards and pins the more i think about it but there is still time :) Also, "PPPin" is a nice and short looking candidate for a name IMO
Demo should be ready by the end of the day btw

@nprofile…h0ux so Collection for collections. How about the posts themselves, i need a one generic word that nicely describes all kinds of items that can be posted. Post? Pin? Ideally starting with P word, hence the PPP project name segment 😅 Basically, name will start with three letters resembling the word we're looking for, PPP for pin but it could be anything

#pppdev project will be about creating collections and pins inside of them which can be either a link,an image or a simple note.Im thinking about how to call these two entities. Right now its Collection and Pin but Pin suggests that maybe it should be Board instead of collection? On the other hand, calling them Pins dont allow us to use "Pin it to the top" terminology - which set of names is better in your opinion? Or maybe something entirely else.I guess are.na uses Collection/Block #fediverse

A sneak peak of another #activitypub project I'm working on - a different way of social bookmarking. Coming soon!

@nprofile…t9gy with all due respect to the author(s) - this project doesn't fully tick all the boxes i personally require. Same goes for libre.fm. Even though I'm currently focused on @nprofile…2uk9, i might consider creating something like that based on the same engine i created for prismo in the meantime as it's far less complicated to implement. Not sure if anyone will use it though

@nprofile…t9gy were there any significant achievements on that field?

Is there a need for #activitypub / #fediverse alternative to #lastfm for #music #scrobbling ? Would you use it?

2024-07-04 16:35:47 UTC

Given there is a single-site multi-user app based on #activitypub (single domain blogging platform with multiple users posting) - should an Application type represent entire site and Person types posting to it? Or Group type instead of Application? Or entire site should be one single Person type? What's your take on that? #needhelp #development #fediverse

Any name ideas for a tumblr/photoblog #activitypub alternative? #needhelp #fediverse #fedihelp
