Also—amidst everything—please vote if you're a US voter.
Voting doesn't magically fix everything. But voting takes very little time and effort (generally, with exceptions) and is one of many levers we can pull to impact things.
Voter turnout/suppression is a multi billion dollar industry because it matters

Flavio Bolsonaro to be announced as the next White House Press Secretary

A browser extension which appends "...is that bad?" to every news headline you see

2026-08-31 01:27:34 UTC

Does anyone in earshot of this online text post have actually positive feelings about their cell provider?
Specifically in the US, where as far as I am aware there are three awful options and then five thousand awful resellers who are all basically the same except one has Ryan Reynolds I guess?

2026-08-16 18:46:19 UTC

Wild work to constantly label your opposition as "radicals" and then you try to dismantle the entire Department of Education by executive action and launch wars and abduct a foreign head of state and bomb fishing boats and assert that the way fix the economy is to undermine all safety nets

At some point we gotta take off the kiddie gloves with these losers
Conservatives and zionists have no place in a functional society, and I think the past *however long you wanna choose* has proven that it’s in our best interest to leave them behind until they figure that out and grow up

“I could never be in a party with them, they don’t support Israel!”
Okay, so get out of politics then 🥰

2026-06-25 20:34:20 UTC

If you're upset that a primary election winner doesn't support Israel, congrats! You're a wildly out of touch moron that we can all safely ignore for the foreseeable future 🔭

Tired of the breathless comparison of Zionism to Judaism as if they're even remotely similar. It's like comparing the concept of Manifest Destiny to Christianity.
Of course, it also ignores the droves of Christian Zionists in the US, so, it's all cynical from the drop tbh

2026-06-19 19:00:10 UTC

Israelis are to Jews as Americans are to Christianity. Or, at least, how a lot of far-right Americans want it to be.
To be against the state of Israel is to be against a genocidal apartheid pseudo-colony whose goal is to kill the people living around them to expand their borders.

"For every tear of an Israeli mother, a thousand Lebanese mothers must weep."
like what the fuck
and to be clear, this is how a LOT of Israelis talk online all the time. It's not new, but the weird sense that they can keep being like this without consequence is gross.

2026-06-19 18:52:05 UTC

Zionists: "Stop calling us genocidal! Anti-Zionism is antisemitism!"
Meanwhile, the literal security minister of Israel: https://www.euronews.com/2026/06/19/all-of-lebanon-must-burn-israeli-minister-says-after-idf-reports-four-soldiers-killed
Its literally just a genocidal political movement whose goal is to establish an ethnostate where there are already people.

I am so exhausted by every single platform pushing some bullshit AI features that puport to replace some kind of step in the creative process
I’m doing the creative process because that is *the point of the creative process* and *why my content is enjoyed by my audience*

The NPCs in Sid Meier's Civilization hold you to a stronger standard of justifying your war than the real world
By now I'd get a full screen popup from Gandhi denouncing me and forming an alliance with Napoleon Bonaparte

Violence has no place in politics which is why we just bombed a major population center and kidnapped a foreign head of state

2025-12-07 20:55:43 UTC

Oh also hey, Canada, uh, whoops—you are playing host to a pilot program of realtime AI facial scanning built in to cop body cameras.
If you live in Edmonton, maybe now's the time to get loud about it

restream has a lot of helpful tools but I’ve got a combination of a more specific integration and a never-ending habit of making things more complicated than they need to be

2025-10-02 23:50:44 UTC

whoops, I forgot to do anything besides hyperfixate on my stream setup to integrate support for YouTube and OwnCast alongside the existing Twitch stuff
Each platform kinda has its own things so they're all slightly different. Excited to see how it all breaks right when I go live tomorrow.

You're telling me the guy who did a very pronounced Nazi salute on live television made his AI slurp up so much antisemitic bullshit that it actually called itself "MechaHitler" as he proclaims its goal to be "truth-seeking" while constantly tweaking it to mirror his world view?
Weird

2025-07-04 01:14:51 UTC

"This isn’t what I voted for!"—nahhhhhh
Like, not only did you absolutely vote for this
You voted for this in the face of people you know and love begging you not to

2025-06-27 13:27:57 UTC

Pause for a sec and ask why the default political position of most US politicians is, "if their basic needs are met, how will we get them to work?"

2025-04-07 13:25:19 UTC

Wishing you all a very happy and safe "watch any notion of a retirement go out the window because my country largely abolished social infrastructure in favor of praying to the god of markets and then elected a moron to office who tanked the markets for no reason other than ego and confusion" day

2025-04-05 16:16:30 UTC

To anyone heading out to the protests today, remember to leave as much as you can at home, focus on being a part of the collective, and listen to organizers instructions.
Drink lots of water and Do Good. Be safe and help each other.

Trump’s executive order to end birthright citizenship (which is constitutionally protected) would also strip US Citizenship from people who already have it.
Once more: removing US citizenship from existing full US citizens.
By declaring an EO that says "I disagree with the constitution"
It's being challenged in court by 18 states, two cities, the ACLU, and more. One of the state AGs suing would possibly lose their citizenship if this was upheld (which I highly doubt it will be)

“These mighty company bosses,
They dress in jewels and silk,
But my darling blue-eyed baby,
She starved to death for milk.
I had a darling mother,
For her I often cry,
But with them rotten conditions
My mother had to die.
Well, what killed your mother?
I heard these bosses say.
Dead of hard work and starvation,
My mother had to pay.”

1900s Labor songs go so incredibly hard.

Dudes job was to maximize refusal of healthcare for sick and injured people. Untold lives ruined at his hand. As executive, the buck stops with him. The world is quite literally better with him dead.
He was en route to a meeting to discuss more ways to profit off of the needy and sick.

To be clear, there is not much of a difference between a US health insurance CEO and a serial killer aside from the health insurance CEO being responsible for an order of magnitude more human suffering than the average serial killer while being paid millions to do it

I switched to black coffee maybe a decade or so ago and it’s so normal for me now that I still am blindsided when I order coffee at a restaurant and they ask if I want cream and sugar
I just don’t associate them anymore it’s weird. I do still love espresso drinks with milk and syrups and whatnot but those are a treat rather than “a cup of coffee” for me

Imagine thinking we still need capitalism to thrive today. Being so cucked by private equity that you simp for powerful men owning the means as opposed to the rugged self empowerment of collective action.

2024-08-19 18:40:01 UTC

I am begging you—before you try to correct someone who is 90% aligned with you and you think they're 10% off: double, triple, and quadruple check that you are interpreting them correctly, and then ask if the correction is actually necessary.
We need to be able to talk about things without having to pre-qualify our intentions and opinions every time the topic comes up.
