Last Notes

In the past when I caulked I would run a finger across to smooth it out. If/when I do it again this will be my go-to method. It even does the corners beautifully and perfectly.

Like baking pies? Dress the rims to impress. Like baking bread? Dress the outside to impress. So damn pretty.

Seriously?! I'm in awe when I seeing a flock of 7 flying over. The second thing I love most is listening to them chat as they do.
I wasn't aware of this phenomenon of massive snow geese migrations.

Two Kagus, from New Caldonia, meet up to gossip.
They sound like what I imagine two Yentas meeting up sound like to do the same. 😝

When bread making....there's no excuse for using artificial colors and flavors. NONE.

Good on you Dad. Allow him to start exercising his critical thinking skills then acknowledge it by clapping for figuring it out.

Despite The Fourth Turning currently taking place, finding something True, Good, and Beautiful can be found Every. Single. Day. if one is open to it.
My find today, of which I had no idea existed are...Koshu grapes from Japan. Gorgeous.
~ Sweet, crisp, succulent, and often a hint of tartness
~ Hybrid of European Vitis vinifera species
~ Grown in Yamanashi, Japan
~ Cultivation dates back to the Nara period (710-794), long before many Western grape varieties were introduced during the Meiji period (1868-1912)
~ Along with being a table fruit, they are also used to produce Koshu wine, a prized product of Yamanashi. Pairs well with seafood, sushi, and tempura.
And now you know. ☺️

Have only done one needlework in my life. Tend to have a 'go big or go home' attitude when it comes to tackling something creative. They are always 'one-offs'.
Was in a quaint needlework store many moons ago and saw this pattern for sale. Bought the background color of cloth as a reference guide was to be followed vs the cloth being pre-printed. So where to start?....I asked one of the sweet little elderly employees where do I start and she said, "Start in the very middle." That always stuck with me as it sounded like a deep philosophical precept that one could apply to Life. IIRC the pattern was called 'Angel of Love'. It hangs above my bed. Framed, the piece measures 21" x 28".
