@nprofile…3en3 USB-C? Your charger is probably struggling with the PD negotiation and making a high frequency switching loop. Your LEDs are sensitive to it. It probably all comes back to the charger capacitors not being full on the first go round. Not a problem.

@nprofile…7ddz This. Last time I went to the doc, they kept pushing for this vaccine. I'm like, "Don't need, my wife and I are good." Got looks of disbelief and "must be nice". Is society in that bad of shape?

I’m in need of info/recommendations:
I would like to get a certain special someone a nice sewing machine for Christmas. One that she would enjoy using. I know nothing about sewing machines. She used to have one that was good for canvas and leather, but terrible for clothes. She has a cheap small one that is basically useless. Anyone have any advice?

After a mostly effortless data retrieval from a borderline abused 3.5” floppy (27 years old), I just found out that I can fit about half an hour of opus encoded audio on a disk. That is amazing!

Found my old Karel the Robot disk…I think there’s some Pascal stuff on here too, at least there used to be. Amazing that I can get a drive and disks delivered tomorrow in 2025.

I never experienced the 1970's. Tell me something good or bad that you experienced from that decade that doesn't exist anymore. Could be just personal stuff, boosts appreciated.

@nprofile…alne From what I’ve heard, the other actors didn’t even know what was about to go down in that scene at filming.

I got excited when I saw that there was a Nextcloud Social app that integrated with the Fediverse. I couldn't get it to work at all.😞

Heidi has been playing with the wood carvings her great grandfather made. I wonder if he had that in mind while working on them.

Yesterday, Heidi's lovie (Buddy the Sloth) got sucked into a pneumatic tube at a local children's play place. He had to spend the night in the wall until they could open it up and retrieve him this morning.

@nprofile…j2mx Being a Christian, I’ve often thought about when Jesus wept at his friend Lazarus’ funeral. He, who held power over death and was about to resurrect the man, still wept for his friend. We cannot change our nature and who we are. You are human and none of us really understand the depths of being human. Grief and emotion are not wrong or weakness, they bring us together. I’m grieving with you. I think we can agree that there is something broken in the world.

#[0] #[1] I thought 4 liters would be enough to dilute it, but it is probably a little to spicy to serve to the general public. It does have a wonderful reaction with the MSG.
