Pushed BASH BLOG preview to the front page of the test node, integrating with the BASH CHAT public channel preview that was already there.
This is a fairly feature complete implementation of both systems, BLOG and CHAT into one NomadNet site, though they can deploy independently.

Published analysis of NoKings demonstrations after attending yesterday's event. It's not exactly a report back so much as an examination at frustration and loss of hope as the takeaway feelings at the direction the events have gone.
This published on our NomadNet site using the platform I made, BASH BLOG.

BASH BLOG NomadNet WordPress-style blog demo page.
Writing, editing, publishing and hosting are all done locally and are not internet access or external host dependent. Editor image 1, preview image 2
Image loading works (see BASH logo at top of post) when inserted using Micron formatted language into the editor. This makes BASH BLOG a viable platform for things with necessary visual components, like report backs. Site logo image 3
On the user side, image loading is optional and can be turned on universally or opted into on a case by case basis. This allows low bandwidth access points, those coming across HAM or LoRa radio, for example, to skip entirely or decide when to wait for longer load times. Image placeholder image 4

Multi line field entries split into individual fields to be further expanded, edited, or removed as desired. Preview section underneath helps track what resultant post will look like with formatting and markdown applied.

NomadNet WordPress style blog post platform proof of concept!
In this video, a page file (.mu) is generated based on title and contents of the page, what would be a blog post, are the contents of the text field, presented as typed except where dashes make Micron line dividers, showing formatting.
The goal is to use traditional markdown language and have it parse into standardized NomadNet formatting similar outputs. Right now, it's just raw Micron and text in and raw Micron and text out.
There also needs to be a post management back end. At the end of the video, I click on the link supplied by the test page, it goes to the newly generated page. I'll need to write a database that stores that link and other details, like tags or subject info, and presents a navigable post library.

🖤" Stay human. Don't mourn, organize! May 10, 100, 1000 autonomous servers spark up!" - @nprofile…ryzh w/media by @nprofile…37nc
This is a tech demo of the encrypted site project we started after A/I was targeted. We want to see secure and private self hosted and autonomous spaces thrive, we believe in the Thousand Servers future and this is one way we are contributing. Anyone can host a secure chat or simple site on NomadNet. Even if the internet goes down, sites can be accessed over radio.

They ain't got us yet.
We built a text only version of our downed NoBlogs site. The front end is Micron with the back end of the contact form handled by Python.
It's end to end encrypted across NomadNet and does not require internet access, though bootstrapping it to the wider net is possible.
rNode builds a cryptography layer on top of the long range, decentralized networking capability of mesh networks. In addition to encrypting messages, rNode also uses the network to serve ultralight web pages.
Our site comes in altogether at 76Kb and can be accessed across mesh radios using rNode.

NEW FROM BASH:
ALL OF US VERSUS TECH DYSTOPIA
This is a long read that examines alternative, privacy and security focused, technologies. It examines a bit of the how and why while also giving tips and suggestions.
This felt really important for the moment and for the ones ahead. It doesn't have all the answers but we hope it gets people thinking about alternatives to big tech and how they might get started building something better.
The piece examines 4 key areas: computer, cloud, phone, devices. The least hopeful is phone. Without spoiling too much, the advice there is mostly suggestions to try and organize your life so that it's got as little opportunity to feed your data to the surveillance state as possible.
"Every modern social media tech company wants access to our data. They’ll offer to hold all of our communications, personal photos and videos, and documents for what amounts to a few dollars a year. Some of these big tech companies offer to do this service for no charge at all (for some reason)! While incredibly convenient, this does not come with a guarantee to privacy or any assumption that our media won’t be analyzed or turned over to the state for something like the state deciding that our existence is illegal."
"Readers shouldn’t put trust in this writing. It should be read as the best guesses and ideas of a small group of people who have spent some time exploring this technology.
Instead, readers should explore the concepts presented and build trust in themselves and their community to interpret and utilize the ideas shared here. Readers are invited to grow their capacity to examine these things and build upon them and shape them to their need. All power to the people."

The Boise May Day! 2025 Event went well and had great turnout!
Bands played rad music, local organizations tabled and chatted with the community, there were activities and a grief altar, tons of food, plus a maypole!
Then there was A LOT of rain!

Happy May Day! May we build new paths towards liberation by remembering those who struggled before us. May we build beautiful solidarity and courage together as a way to honor those who came before and those will come after.
May we be careful with each other so we can be dangerous together.

@nprofile…2u03 @nprofile…55u5 @nprofile…p6gt in Boise, we (a collective of activist friends with anarchist tendencies) spent the entire season, May until October, supporting the People's Liberated University which, like many others before, imploded when people created and then filled the leadership vacuum. No report backs or meaningful media was produced (we stayed out of their way and they didn't step up) beyond what was needed for them to collect donations and the anarchists were all burned out or chased out for questioning what was developing, the direction it was going, and the harm it created.
Overall, it was a year of collapsing friendships and no forward progress. A lot of snakes exposed themselves but organizing broke all the way down.
We've just now, yesterday, begun the process of gathering those who were scattered and started the work to get a real story together about what happened here this year.

"To everyone hurting right now: please make space for your grief. Don’t let anger shield you from sadness or bury your pain in escapism. Let your heart break over what’s ahead. Accept that, no matter how hard we fight, there are harms we will not halt. If that awareness brings tears to your eyes, then weep. Spend time with your grief, share it, and find comfort in your loved ones."
"If you are hurting right now, remember that the pain you are feeling is a natural consequence of your decency. Don't try to bury that. Nurture the tender parts of yourself."
