@nprofile…ee4l If we think in terms of "old" menu bar yes, but since it's transparent now, they should accomodate.
Problem is, there's no easy and obvious way to do that, that's why we had those borders in the first place 🙃

@nprofile…ee4l Oh, I noticed that too! I hope it'll be addressed in later betas. I could imagine possibility to move window in this area and then it would automatically retract?

@nprofile…ee4l It's the first beta, there's time to implement it 🧐

@nprofile…66kr Is this a "full" M4 Max or the binned version?

💻 I ran an experiment: how much real time does it take to add a small feature to a mobile app using classic coding vs #AI 🤖
I'm not anti-AI or “AI will take our jobs” it was just a curious case study. I use #AI daily (#ChatGPT macOS app + Xcode integration, Plus subscription). I use it selectively, but not fully integrated like #Cursor — more of an assistant than a co-pilot.

One area that #AI feels incredibly powerful already is managing Linux servers. Thanks to AI, I've improved my servers a lot, doing stuff that I simply had no time nor will to do before.
Of course you still need to KNOW what you want to do, but other than that - awesome!

@nprofile…66kr I know it has been >2 years from its release, but 6950XT is literally the highest end of the Radeon 6000 series 😅 I think it can't be considered a mid-range even now?

@nprofile…md38 Yeah, that's a good point. I thought more of lack of other APIs to achieve this kind of system customization and interaction 🤔 But maybe there's no need for something like that after all 😅

@nprofile…rqx0 @nprofile…md38 I have a feeling that Accessibility framework recently became "the" way to extend and improve macOS somehow overriding strict rules imposed by Apple…

@npub1src…fms4 Second looks much better for me, but maybe also iOS Safari could be an inspiration regarding tabs? 🤔

@npub1src…fms4 So no more opening Python console for more complex math calculations? 😅

@npub1src…fms4 Those are my thoughts as well... I think we'll get future-generation NPUs, tailored to run LLMs 🤔

@npub1src…fms4 But I guess still no Journal on Mac & iPads 🙁

@npub1src…fms4 I think it can be disabled 😉

@npub1src…fms4 You use it with a mouse/touchpad? 🤔 I always thought it's more sensible (and truly designed for) on iPads and Apple Pencil...

@npub1sdu…w074 That's entirely true! I don't want another macOS, I want a touch-first OS, but capable!
And as you said, most of the limitations are either artificial, or by implementing certain APIs

@npub1q63…uucj It's quite weird that Windows 7 looks now like a proper retro system 🥲😃

@npub1su4…a0dw I can imagine, that McDonalds simply commisioned a retro game, and Krool Games did what they could the best: used GameBoy platform to make the game 😉
