@npub19fc…ay3c I still strongly feel that we were cheated out of a better future because of that illegitimate fraud. Even his family didn’t want him in the White House.

@npub1nxt…055a I started using an alternate theme in order to avoid this. It conveniently shows a little pink “No Alt” in the corner.

@npub1nxt…055a Every day it was the same. She crawled down the endless tunnel. For some reason when traveled just far enough she would find a meal. Eventually, given enough travel she would tire and fall asleep to awake to another day in the endless silk curtains flowing in darkness.
It wasn’t like she didn’t try to escape. It’s just that there wasn’t any escape.
“Kalna,” she said sniffing the air. Movement in the curtain. She leapt forward grasping. It was a fine beetle. She feasted on its flesh.

@npub189n…satx I mean, yeah, the idea was intended and based on a federation of states. This idea, for various reasons, both good and bad, has been chipped away at over time.

@npub1nxt…055a “What a funny looking creature you are?” Carlos noted observing a little red mechanical squirrel in Central Park.
“Spurocketed, speerrockket, sprocket!” It said while leaping to and fro around him.
“What is the meaning of that?”
“Name, na, name… foo… food… food please?” It continued “Sprocket!”
Even though it is strongly discouraged to feed the animals in the park Carlos carried a bag of seed for the birds. He tossed some seed onto the ground before Sprocket.
“No, no, no, YOU food!”

@npub1nxt…055a They appeared as children yet they were not. They were eons old and played dangerous games with entire worlds. They stood around a round table with many interactive displays and a large holographic projection from its center.
“It’s your turn. Please, don’t cause too much damage. I want this to last longer than Mars did,” Zeus, the boy in blue, insisted.
“Ah, no, I want WAR and STRIFE NOW!” Ares, the temperamental boy in red, yelled back.
“War isn’t everything, my boy,” Zeus sighed.

@npub1ddp…2tax @npub1ywq…v2r2 No. That is the war god worshipped by King Josiah. Jesus explicitly outlined that this is the wrong understanding of God. In fact, that ruffled a lot of feathers according to scripture. And contemporaries rejected his bid for Messiah because of this fact.

@npub1ddp…2tax @npub1ywq…v2r2 Christianity is so divided that it can be challenging putting into question what is and isn’t a Christian besides some nominal connection to the Christ story. It isn’t up to me to decide what someone labels themselves. However, when I was in a priesthood, I would say that many aren’t being Christlike and should be able to do better. It is ultimately up to the established religion to decide who is what in their hierarchy. We can very safely say not all are the same.
