I agree entirely. I'm curious about whether there are enough particulates left over from burning 200,000 tons of coal that it also creates more total solid waste than those turbine blades (in addition to the terrible environmental, health, and economic costs)

very well said. Taxing the rich enough to materially reduce inequality brings with it the benefits of a more equitable society, even if the money does nothing else. The same is true if the wealthy move away to avoid a tax

Zionists weaponizing antisemitism is not an excuse for Leftists to ignore legitimate rising antisemitism, nor its impact on Jewish people.
The Breach is not trying to silence anybody, that isn't how journalism works. The article offers nuanced and well-considered critiques, and if you had time to write all that you also had time to read it and sit with them.
This isn't a productive conversation, let's drop it.

This response is disappointing. Zionists benefit from antisemitism, and it is not helping Palestinians to be flippant about it
The article's arguments are specifically aimed at Leftists, not Palestinians. Those groups are aligned in fighting Israeli apartheid, genocide, and settler colonialism but they are not the same groups. I do not expect Palestinians to mince words about their own occupiers and I don't think it's helpful to suggest The Breach is advocating that either

The AI take that I want to see more of is this:
The Owners see in LLM technology the opportunity to make the Working Class redundant, and they have pursued it with delusional abandon. Just as the USA once pursued the nuclear bomb.
They want to have that power in hand /before/ we, societally, answer the question "what happens when humans are no longer employable, through no fault of their own?" The answer answer they offer is in the treatment of our seniors and our disabled neighbours today.

I'm also generally okay with banks taking billions from Peter Thiel, private hedge funds, or the Saudi Sovereign Wealth Fund, if they're willing to fund Musk's midlife crisis. Banks evade slightly fewer taxes than those others.

Sounds like the banks think they stand a good chance of getting their money back from Musk's holding company when the principle is due. They have a better idea of what assets that company is holding than we do. I relish the thought of Musk being on the hook to repay the banks by selling Tesla stock, although that might be too much to hope for.
