📚 Continuing my series about design-systems, today I wrote about why I believe data-testid is a bad practice and and how role-based selectors actually help ensure your app is accessible.

I’ve updated the sponsors page on my blog to get the list of supporters directly from GitHub. I’m thankful to each and every one of them ❤️
Also I don’t need to do manual updates now when something changes, yay.

👀 Gonna merge this PR to [@tanstack.com@bsky.brid.gy](https://bsky.brid.gy/ap/did:plc:jdczmu5vxniqucxbqkggvucp ) Query today. What do you think this is?

I remember when prettier came out and we tried it on a project, I called it "uglier" and removed it almost immediately.
Little did I know that it mostly doesn't matter _how_ you format something - what matters is that everyone uses the same style.
In that sense, prettier is goated 🐐.

This is probably one of my best articles that isn’t about React Query. I just re-read it and love everything about it. I probably peaked at that time. Give it a read:

📚 Whenever I see useCallback, I wonder: why do we need it here? And a lot of the times, when I look deeper, I see that it actually doesn’t do anything. I think a lot of code-bases would be better of just not memoizing at all - and then let the compiler do it for you:
