Today should've been Dr. Refaat Al-Areer's 47th birthday, but Israel assassinated him.
A professor who has epitomised the quintessential levels of knowledge, honour, and dignity.
An inextinguishable light for Palestine and the world. May Allah place him in the highest heaven.

"I wish I was alone in this experience."
Marwan Barghouti's son humbly speaks out about his father's suffering in Israeli dungeons and says that he hasn't spoken to his father in 4 years, nor has he touched him in 25 years, like so many Palestinians.

60 Palestinian hostages have been released from Israeli dungeons.
Emaciated, tortured, and traumatised, their shouts of joy have echoed across Gaza.
Israel continues its expansion and occupation of Gaza, capitalising on the world's silence.

@npub1juy…36j0 put out a deplorable statement condemning security forces in Gaza for allegedly intervening in or obstructing humanitarian aid distribution — a gift for Israel and its allies to capitalise on in order to lay more groundwork for additional genocidal actions in the territory, especially against civil police forces.
The same security or police forces that Israel has systematically targeted and mass murdered while securing aid operations in Gaza during the course of genocide, which Dr Ramiz seemingly never condemned. He also never thanked them for risking their lives to protect aid lorries and secure their safe entry into the strip. I was in Gaza and repeatedly saw firsthand how ordinary people with security forces were burned to death by Israel before my eyes to ease the humanitarian organisations' work and speed up their relief efforts. Never once did somebody within these orgs complain or anything. The police body in Gaza has in fact an incredible record of respecting and collaborating with INGOs and allowing them to operate fully and freely for the past 20 years.
It is actually Israel that steals, harasses, and brutalises returnees through the Rafah Crossing to Gaza. It is Israel that still doesn't allow much of the basic necessities the population desperately needs. It is Israel that has evidently armed and backed, and still does, militias operating behind the so-called yellow line that have been ceaselessly stealing aid, obstructing INGOs and UN humanitarian aid trucks, smuggling drugs and other illegal commodities into Gaza, and kidnapping & killing civilians. This seems unnecessary for the likes of @npub1juy…36j0 and his entourage because the whole world's problem is Hamas. Nothing more or less.
The Interior Ministry, rightly so, released a statement expounding on the incident and denying these baseless allegations which were very likely first and foremost made under pressure to serve Israel's demands of vilifying Hamas and any other remaining governing authority that doesn't even have links to the political party. The ministry explains that, "The incident at the Jabalya warehouse involved a chaotic stampede and attempted theft, prompting an immediate response from a police force that rushed to the scene. The force intercepted contraband within the aid trucks, and an investigation into the prohibited items remains underway."
Meanwhile, Israel continues to breach the ceasefire daily, reducing aid to a trickle, killing over 1000 Palestinians, carrying out frequent assassinations, blowing up entire neighbourhoods to smithereens, and occupying more land of Gaza. This doesn't appear to annoy the "Deputy Special Coordinator at [@unsco_mepp](https://bird.makeup/users/unsco_mepp )" " much.
More importantly, see for yourself. Here's one of his previous statements in which he equates a genocidal army that was killing 100s a day at the time and starving and sniping people to death with a group of fighters who were repelling them barefoot and chest-naked.
I am appalled and horrified at how INGOs are implicitly manufacturing consent for more horrors in Gaza. They are inarguably a part of the problem, having been slow to contend with such adversarial situations, softening action and statements towards Israel's murderous, heinous acts in Gaza, and ignoring the targeting and killing of civil sectors, which are categorically falsely reduced to Hamas and other political factions in the beleaguered territory.
This isn't neutrality or objectivity. This is Israel's propaganda passed on as INGOs and UN bodies' statements. This never helps the Palestinians but further fuels their plight. I am calling on the entire UN bodies, including @npub1lkx…j9yj, to be genuinely transparent and caring towards Palestinians who are daily murdered and bombed by their backers.

Israel yesterday kidnapped four women. Two are footballers in the Palestinian National Team.
Their names are: Natali Abu Dia and Rand Halwani.
Is it normal to kidnap footballers, @npub1kd8…v9n3? Where are sports media organisations? This story should be the headline everywhere.

On this day two years ago, May 8th, 2024, the West and Arab-backed Israeli regime began its invasion of Rafah City, southern Gaza, which turned it into a city of rubble despite the Red Line facades & all eyes on Rafah posts worldwide.
Unforgivable. Unforgettable.

I talked to my family & several people in Gaza, forced to buy/ receive bread from @npub17q9…g93q-run bakeries instead of receiving free flour.
The quality of the bread is very terrible. People’s demands are shrugged off
I call on @npub1jws…76p5 to consider people’s demands and stop this now

Amid all the news, today marks the first anniversary of Israel burning 19-year-old Shaban Al-Dalou alive in the courtyard of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital after sustaining a 7-stitch head injury.
He was a universe of a human being, growing with wounds and surviving on scraps of hope.

“It’s our policy to ask, do you or your parents have affiliation to Hamas?”
That’s the question the @npub1lhd…epte producers asked for a 17-year -old child from Gaza before inviting him for an interview. Imagine asking a starving child living a genocide this.
I am wondering, @npub1lhd…epte: Do you ask Israelis if they or their parents are participating in a genocide?

People are falling in the streets like tree leaves in the autumn. Children are bones and skills, weeping for food and water
Journalists report on starvation while tears filling their eyes. What more atrocities does this world have to see to act?
This is the darkest time ever

Israel’s latest huge series of airstrikes has hit Deir al-Balah’s central mosque and levelled it up to the ground, adding to almost 1000 mosques destroyed in Gaza.

Ibrahim Eid, my beloved and lovely teacher and trainer whose smile never faded away, has just been killed by Israeli fire in southern Gaza.
The heart has borne a lot…harder to be unable to mourn his death. The grief never ends.
The best of the world, the most quintessential of humanity are being hunted down. I can’t 💔💔💔

Today, I have left my heart in Gaza and taken my fragile body outside it. For 560 days, I have never stopped and have done over my energy to tell the truth and report our pain from my hometown. The story has come to a temporary end. I never ever imagined I would be at such an impossible decision, to leave my family behind and depart for medical treatment and care. My body, since Israel’s ongoing blockade, has become constantly weaker. And since I haven’t found my medicine either, I was plunged into my guilt zone and decided to go.
With this sentiment comes relentless emotional pain. As a young man, I always dreamed to report on football. I was let down many times, instilled doses of courage into me to overcome the challenges, and fought hard to be that dreamer. But once Israel started its genocide, I put everything aside and picked up my weapon to begin reporting tirelessly hour in and hour out.
Maybe, I haven’t done enough and wish I could continue until every inch is rebuilt, but my health has disappointed me this time. It couldn’t take that much horror and suffering. My braves colleagues have stayed. They’re the best of the world. There was indeed a last drop of blood in my veins, and I didn’t want to spend it nowadays. I desire to recharge, grow stronger, and come back to defend my homeland with aplomb and unmatched love. As I have always promised, I will die for the day Palestine will be free.
My mother, my father, and my brothers and sisters, I have failed you. I miss you and will miss you in every second I will be out from Gaza. Love to you. My heart has remained with you and will never leave you. You’re my light in this whole darkness. That’s why I am shining.
For my friends, it’s all about you. You are the companions of the journey. Even if we bid shot farewells, we will reunite and live together again. I want you to be very strong much more than when we were side by side.
And to all people around the world, your support and love have been my solace and respite during the genocide. I am so grateful to every person of you. And I hope we will all be in a free Palestine soon.
To all of you, I love you. And I have really known the meaning of love from you. You have been the sense of safety inside my heart when I felt afraid under the bombardments.
I will continue conveying the message of my people and share my experiences during the genocide abroad and will never stop telling my people’s stories.
Forgive me, all. My homeland, my heartbeat, please forgive me. I promise I will come back soon to water your soil with my blood. We will be all free. We will sacrifice until the last blood.

Almost a month since the blockade: The fact that my family and I may resort to pet food again scares me more than ever. I can't believe I'd eat it for the third time.
Malnourishment and pet food are like adding fuel to the fire.
You won't comprehend this feeling in words...

We, the people of Gaza, have nothing to lose. But you will lose your humanity, dignity, and conscience if you keep this happen.
People have resorted to canned food, displacement camps, and anything found to survive.
Horror after horror. Pain after pain. Endless trauma.

This is the CNN and Western Media.
This is why the Gaza genocide will continue because the narrative is being twisted in favour of Israel, which will see no worries in resuming the genocide provided it receives support.
Some people must be held accountable.
