How come "PRACTICAL CONCRETE ideas for stopping slowing down the fascists" always comes down to scolding people fighting for trans rights, or Black Lives, or immigrant lives, or Palestinian lives, or impoverished lives, or
At what point do you consider that actually you're one of the fascists who needs to be stopped

> We’re long used to Democrats offering hollow statements of support, but little else in practice, Yet this cycle has now seen more and more of the party's candidates embrace open anti-trans bigotry — often in the exact same terms used by Trump — and enthusiastically support many of the same anti-trans policies as their Republican opponents.

So went to a small little pasta place that is also pretty reasonable (1400 for this pasta + salad + ice coffee) and has a way more relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff and I can sit at the counter with no wait

Also bought this ruler/magnifying glass thing that is supposed to make it easier to focus on one line at a time. I'd been making do with regular bookmarks but find myself squinting a lot, probably because I need to get my eyes checked for reading glasses (sigh). Figured this would be a good stopgap til whenever I actually get that done
I think the rounded effect on text is a little distracting, like I can probably get used to it
but it's definitely not as good as digitally increasing font size
