Thank you for the clarification! I'd have to be pretty into tinkering with Linux, to use it right? Not that I personally mind, but I don't think it's something I should just recommend my 70yo dad who can barely use macos quite yet as _his_ daily driver... Right?
I really wanna try the fairphone (and your image!) but I can't justify the price. It's not the phone's problem, though, it's more of a problem with my level of disposable income lol

How is pmOS daily driver ready when the OP just got the camera working? I think the other dev JUST got audio and emergency calls working too, right?

Thank you, I'd heard of Waydroid with my limited research on Linux phones but not Lepton. I did a quick search and it seems like a fork of Waydroid by Valve. That's pretty cool! I'm trying to see if I can find a cheap, used Linux phone I can tinker with here in Japan because I don't have the balls to dive head first into the Linux phone environment as my daily driver.

I'm very happy with GrapheneOS right now, but I can't wait to get my hands on a Linux phone to get away from Google's evil grip of death. But at the same time, there are lots of Android apps I need day to day...

I wanna like Peertube as an alternative, but I can't find any content I like there. And the app is so awkward to use.
