lil bit. There's a certain clarity I gave up with the lack of lines, but I really like this workflow.

Now that I think about it, I haven't shared art on fedi in a very long time. I finished this one about two weeks ago, and I'm super happy with it.
Painting is so fun. At the end of all my struggles trying to figure out how I like best to illustrate, I ended up returning to tradition and painting. In fact, I threw out line art altogether ! XD
Rendering like this, especially on the hair, could not be achieved with cel shading, and I'm extremely satisfied with my development so far.

@npub1au2…wgql Remember what I was saying about a post-story city builder with the XC2 cast?

This woman is cruel AF. It's one thing to say "I don't understand or like your hobbies but I am trying my best to learn about them, keep sharing with me." Instead, she says herself: she **snapped**. What in the world could she possibly be "snapping" about? Her not having a billionaire CEO to show off to her girlfriends, but instead a modest, nerd husband that shares his passionate love with her?
This woman's anecdote about his completely demoralized personality shift hurt to read. God speed...

It kinda looks like a ball cage probably. But really, I'm wrapping deforming bones around Yolanda's breasts to get more accurate deformation. She's a fictional tit monstrosity :guraKekw:

:akko_weary: Unique character, unique problems, unique solutions. I have to re-rig Yolanda's side curls, and then I need to do some black magic for her facial animation rigging.

[Hyper warning]
Two months of my efforts have borne fruit. :akko_yay: I fully sub-d modeled, sculpted, and rigged her from scratch! Going into this, I had ZERO ability to even navigate Blender. The first thing I did was make my donut, then I was grilled by a friend on topology, and finally I went and learned everything else just using tutorials online.
I still need to do a lot of detail like texturing her eyes and rigging her face, but with what I have I'm like 90% complete with my 3d learning project. Over time I want to make more outfits and build up the pose library so I can effectively do what usukeninja does (he is a 3d artist that sculpts people's commissions and does a spin-around reel for social media). Look at this grown man, playing doll with his digital sex goddess.
However... posting on the socials is not my main goal. Next I need to figure out how to sculpt clothes around the body, and then attach the clothes and accessory armatures to the main body armature. I'm trying to establish a 3d model standard and implement clothes destruction for a professional video game project :guraKekw:
