Hi,
I'm planing to talk about your works, you current campaign, and also issues with Western crowdfunding platform on radio, Dec. 29/12, 21:00 CET on p-node.org.
Hope it will help a bit.
you can join if you can and if you feel like it (IRC or Voice talk through videoconf web tool)
or you can send me an audio file recorded in the conditions you want and in the atmosphere of your choice, in which you talk about your SolarPunk commitments, your problems with crowdfunding platforms, and your current project.
But I agree that's asking too much of you.
Anyway, this message is just to let you know that I'm going to try to talk about your work, which I love, across the airwaves and beyond borders on a free radio station.

"Conclusion
One of the most striking findings of this analysis is that a media outlet’s political orientation—whether left, center, or right—did not reliably predict the level of bias in coverage of the Gaza genocide. In fact, several right-leaning outlets demonstrated more restraint than their centrist or center-left counterparts."
And
"The cumulative effect is a distorted public narrative that dehumanizes Palestinians and reframes state violence against an occupied and besieged indigenous population as self-defense. This distortion does more than misinform—it shapes policy, dulls outrage, and normalizes injustice. It is not the bias of one newsroom, but an institutional condition of Western journalism that continues to obscure the reality of Palestinian suffering and the asymmetry of this war."

Framing Gaza: A Comparative Analysis of Media Bias in 8 Western Media Outlets
This study by Media Bias Meter, a Tech for Palestine project, analyzes the text of 54,449 articles published between October 7, 2023, and August 2025, a period of 100 weeks, across eight major Western news outlets from North America and Europe.
Center-left: Le Monde (France), Der Spiegel (Germany)
Center-right: La Libre Belgique (Belgium), Corriere della Sera (Italy), The Globe and Mail (Canada)
Right-populist: De Telegraaf (Netherlands)
Liberal/establishment center: The New York Times (US), BBC News (UK)
Report available in English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Deutsch languages

It takes a village to grow us.
It is also important to seriously consider that when people begin to organize themselves locally, there are consequences, notably political forces that strive to curb this type of social configuration and, even more dangerously, violent groups that do everything in their power to silence these types of organizations.

I need to talk with someone skilled about #threatModel (digital side) specifically about 'downloads' / archiving / wget (mirroring) and online/offline for field activities (logistics / investigation ) and activist groups (water, mud, soil investigation within sampling and DIY analysis & data production)
I need to talk so do not point me any NGOs (I already now them). And I've been there too.
It's about holistic security approach in this very specific nudge.
Downloading things, offline access first, sharing (see Kiwix and kiwix itw at APC.org)
Being up to a mountain or down to a river or sewers system or so.
Or around floods in streets / towns / cities / lands.
Radio (SDR) scanning in the field and emergency data transmission / copy.
If it's not a clear and not understandable claim, I'm so sorry and please feel free to bake he with your asking and thoughts.
Very very important: carbon-mascu-male alpha-stupid-surviving-boyz are not welcome in this discussion and I'm sure you get the point my dear fedizens (no techbro / no cryptobro and more away)

This is done with an openly racist minister who organizes roundups as a marketing operation.

A few months ago I injured my back.
Since then it's been a series of struggles against hell(s) (loss of job, inaccessibility to care, pain, loss of mobility, etc.).
I've been feeling better for a few weeks now. It's not a fiesta, but I'm getting better.
One of the problems of precariousness is that the capitalist system does everything it can to keep us down there, so that the richest people can increase their capital.
This also applies to access to healthcare. I mean, you have small rights fro med assistance (already not easy to access) on a tiny base so you don't die too quickly. But when it comes to paying for a complete and necessary range of medical care and treatment, well, that's reserved (capitalized) for the richest people.
Today, I need a little surgery to hopefully make progress in my recovery. And the longer I wait, the further away the recovery becomes.
The costs are only partially covered by the basic health insurance system (basic for the poor).
So I'm begging on an 'Internet kerb' to raise €500.

Edit: to date 70 € received / 500 €

#Help
I'm currently working on 2 investigations, focusing on water issues. One in Brittany, the other in North and North-East Syria.
Broadly speaking, this consists of two key strands:
- R&D of tools and methodologies
- Fieldwork, interviews, data, publications
everything is under free licence. This should take between ~ 6 and 12 months of work.
I'm in financial difficulties.
I have 2 options:
- To receive your donations in money (just to illustrate: 3000 € would allow me to work 2 months and a bit more)
https://liberapay.com/Xav.CC/
https://buy.stripe.com/fZeaIGaYJeymeRi5kl
(If you work on the board of a charity foundation, we can also have a chat.)
OR second option,
I'm leaving these 2 investigations aside, probably in the archives and abandoned. And I go back to the factory to do food work.
I've got to make a decision this week.

By @npub1vlk…m0nh This Moment
Or, Why I Cannot Mourn Gaza"
https://www.hauntologies.net/p/this-moment
> The ceasefire between Israel and Hamas was supposed to start at 08:30am local time, January 19th 2025. It was delayed by 3 hours as Hamas took longer than planned to release the names of the three Israelis who would be released as part of the ceasefire deal. Netanyahu took advantage, and in those final 3 hours after the official ceasefire started his forces killed 19 Palestinians.
[…]
> I cannot mourn the dead of Gaza yet because it is not over.
[…]
> I cannot mourn Gaza because this death and destruction was committed by an Israeli government backed by the ostensibly center-left Biden administration
[…]
> On this very day, January 20th 2025, one day after the official ceasefire in Gaza, the Americans are planning on inaugurating their most far right government in living memory, an event described by a friend as 'not an inauguration, but a rally.' Attending this rally are far right leaders from around the world, from Zemmour (France) to the AfD (Germany) and Farage (UK) among others.

"EU consultation confirms demand: long-term funding for Free Software is needed" by @npub16xn…g7f8

Nearly 800 answers were received, —an unusually high number for such consultations. In the open-ended responses, participants highlighted Free Software as a vital component of Europe’s digital future
