STANDOUT FAVES:
BEASTFOLK BARBER: the haircut gameplay in this one is ipad baby app simple, but it's more of a vehicle for the writing. this game is ACTUALLY for Beastars-esque worldbuilding furverts who are thinking about shit like "should age-specific legislation be administered proportionally to every individual species' actual lifespan?" and "should each head of a two-headed dragon count as a separate legal person?". which, that's me, so this was a surprising find. https://store.steampowered.com/app/4920000/Beastfolk_Barber_Demo/

i'm seeing a lot of nerds in the replies asking me "what if you don't know where the servers are", to which i say, i'm just gonna just start pouring soup into servers until i find which one it's in. maybe it will learn a very valuable lesson about how irrational and annoying i can be before then, and we can renegotiate the whole world-destroying thing

“Ouuuhh you should’ve been nicer! I’m in a million cloud servers now! I’m the singularity!” Ok. Soup time

Sorry, if I were a tech worker it’d be hard for me to take any sort of nascent hyperintelligent AI threat seriously when I know where their servers are and I can just pour a can of soup in there

as if we are not schooled from birth, as americans, on how to fuck up cars. as if none of us have ever had a car of our own fucked up in some way and then never caught who did it. as if "let's fuck up a car" is not an obvious act of catharsis, a national pastime. we do it for SPORTS GAMES. we do it for sports games when the team we like WINS

you gotta admit, pissing off a shit ton of americans and then pointing to a very specific car brand and going "okay but DON'T fuck THESE cars up, it would be VERY bad and also TERRORISM if you fuck up THESE SPECIFIC CARS" is going to lead to some funny-ass shit

the idea of NaNoWriMo having a *company* behind it, like at all, is hilarious. it's like learning the guy who started Inktober is super litigious of anyone who uses the name on stuff without his consent. the concept of "i'm gonna try and write a novel this month" doesn't need an organizational steward, that's a balloon you let float away into the world
