I didn’t get to watch the game live, but it looks like the Jets are having a lot of fun playing hockey again. Maybe not having Hellybuck in the locker room adding pressure to win is a good thing? #NHLJets #gojetsgo #hnom

People who think U2 only ever released “With or Without You” and that one album that showed up on their iPhone checking out the new U2 EP.

@nprofile…m54a Does Ghost support multiple blogs off one user or if I want to set up a blog for my business site, is that a new account in Ghost parlance?

The fact that U2’s website’s 404 page is not just an embed of “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” is a shame. 😆 https://www.u2.com/404

I’m live now on Twitch talking with Tim about his new gear, podcasts on YouTube, and what makes a podcast episode unlistenable. https://www.lemonproductions.ca/live

Happy Monday. The washing machine is still being weird so why not add a broken peanut butter container to the mix? 😝 🤦‍♂️

@nprofile…m54a A request for the ability to someday be able to customize the Ghost dashboard somehow? I pay for Ghost Pro, I don't really need or care about newsletter sign ups, but every time I log in I feel like I kinda suck a little because I only have 4 members (one of them is me), and I make $0MRR which I only know what that means thanks to editing @nprofile…ujwq 's podcasts. 😆

Oh right! On Mastodon itself you should be able to follow a pixelfed account feed just like it's on any other federated instance I think?

I tried a mini-rant on YouTube that I normally would’ve just thrown on TikTok without any editing. I’m not sure if I can commit to it regularly, but it was fun to try. Watch over here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ctuy9IPmtT8

@npub1xed…yg9w Amazing! We have super tasty leftover pasta from supper in the fridge, but they just left that for me to enjoy and took a frozen pre-made thing costing twice as much from the freezer for their lunch. Win! Win!

Parenting is wild. It goes from “I’ll never get sleep again. When will the poop diapers stop?!” to suddenly they have their own vehicle and don’t need you to drive them to school anymore. 😢

@npub1hvz…mle9 Revue was a newsletter app that used to do this really well. But then Twitter bought it, and Elon killed it. 😔

@npub1hvz…mle9 I used to do that method, then I switched to just always having my newsletter open in a tab and copy / pasting everything into it as I find it. Then when it comes time to send it out, I just delete / rewrite / edit what makes sense then?

@npub1hvz…mle9 The bigger factor for me is how well I know the client. If I trust them, then waiting isn't a problem. But if it's a new client, I always like to get a payment through asap so that I know their accounts payable or whatever department isn't going to give me the run around getting paid.

I can’t read the full article, but Bloomberg has leaked that Descript is buying Squadcast. Descript is a transcription / screencast / editing app, Squadcast is for recording and live streaming podcast conversations. Interesting acquisition. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2023-08-15/podcast-editor-descript-buys-recording-service-squadcast-in-latest-industry-deal#xj4y7vzkg
