They held a mourning ceremony for him... and sold their gold to search for his remains... and today he returned from the dead, alive!
For three long years, an entire family lived in anguish. For three years, the people of Gaza and his loved ones bid farewell to Adham al-Banna, whose passing, along with three of his brothers, was widely reported.
His fiancée and family lived in the certainty that he was gone. A mourning ceremony was held, and condolences were received. So great was her love and her desperate search for him that his fiancée sold her gold jewelry, and the family pooled their resources to hire a lawyer to search for his body and remains... just to know where their beloved would be buried.
Then, in a moment that defies belief, it was revealed that Adham had been imprisoned in the occupation's jails and had been released two days prior, returning to his family and fiancée.
A human miracle. May God help every family who knows nothing of their children amidst a devastating war that has affected everything—stones, people, trees, and all aspects of life.

1000 days
1000 nights and days of a life of suffering, a life only we have lived through, and if it were to be repeated, it would be repeated within us.
1000 nights and days, and they weren't enough to intercede for us with anyone.
1000 nights and days, and we are witnesses to the most horrific scenario humanity has ever seen.
1000 times a day we bled, we screamed, we suffered, we lost our loved ones, we were displaced, and some of us were killed.
1000 times a day Gaza called out to the world, called out to conscience, called out to humanity, but the echo returned to us as a bullet of death.
1000 days, and each day was a lifetime of fear, hunger, loss, waiting, oppression, and injustice.
And despite everything... Gaza, despite its pain, remained standing with its people, with their patience, and with their faith that we have a just, merciful, compassionate, mighty, and avenging Lord.
He will bring compensation without delay.
1000 days, and they are still not finished with us.

1000 Days of Blood, Tears, and Survival...
Today marks 1,000 days since the war in Gaza began.
For 1,000 days, we have lived through fear, hunger, displacement, loss, and endless uncertainty.
Every single day is a fight to survive, while the world continues to move on as if our suffering has become just another headline.
I am a mother living through this nightmare with my family. My husband was injured during the war and continues to suffer without access to the medical care he desperately needs. At the same time, my children are suffering from malnutrition because food is scarce, prices are overwhelming, and the humanitarian situation grows worse every day.
As a mother, nothing is more painful than watching my children go hungry and become weaker while feeling powerless to provide them with the food, medicine, and safety they deserve. It is equally heartbreaking to see my injured husband in constant pain without being able to afford the treatment he needs.
If you are able to help, no matter how small the amount, your donation can help us provide food for my children, medical care for my husband, and the basic necessities our family needs to survive. If you cannot donate, please consider sharing our story. A single share could help us reach someone who can.
Thank you to everyone who chooses compassion over silence. Your kindness gives my family hope during one of the darkest chapters of our lives.
After 1,000 days of unimaginable suffering, we are still holding on to hope.
