I sew rice pads using colorful tight weave flannel. Each sewn channel is ~3-4” wide. Then I heat them in the microwave for 3-4 minutes, to use as needed for aches and pains. I’ve not tried adding a cup of water in the microwave. But then again, we live near the coast.

Are geocoins still a thing? We don’t geocache anymore, but still have geocoins stashed in a bag.

Spectacular visibility tonight for the ISS Crew 11 return. The Orion constellation is also visible. The actual trail sparkled with multiple colors.

Many of the park roads are closed right now because of the mid-September rains and flash flooding. Be sure to check the current NPS map.
The Eureka Sand Dunes (Singing Sand Dunes) are memorable. https://www.nps.gov/deva/planyourvisit/eureka-dunes.htm

Nice additions! These really highlight 1975-1977 as turning point.
I remember those years as significant drought years for the Western US.
