Thanks for letting me know about the wrong link, should be fixed now.
FP6+ makes sense. I initially figured you wouldn't go for the FP5, because I don't immediately see it for sale on the Fairphone website or anywhere else.
By the way, I think it's really cool you're going to be offering FP6 w/ PostMarketOS in the near future. My phone is still in good working order (and don't want to create needless e-waste), but not excited about the Google lock-down, so may be looking to switch out in the next year. Depends if I can get any decent price for my phone, otherwise probably ride it until its closer to death or the google lock-down becomes too rough.

Looking at the [PostMarketOS Wiki for Fairphone 5](https://wiki.postmarketos.org/wiki/Fairphone_5_(fairphone-fp5)), it looks like audio, camera, calls, nfc, and fingerprint are all partial or broken.
themightycat@ani.social has been able to get [audio](https://piefed.zip/c/linuxphones@lemmy.ca/p/1622925/fairphone-6-postmarketos-working-audio), [calls](https://piefed.zip/c/linuxphones@lemmy.ca/p/1670539/fairphone-6-postmarketos-working-audio-calls), and [NFC](https://piefed.zip/c/linuxphones@lemmy.ca/p/1610722/fairphone-6-postmarketos-working-nfc-reading-mini-guide) working on the Fairphone 6. According to him, he is currently working on the camera(s) with another developer and also going to try and get the fingerprint reader working too).
I'm not sure how compatible they are, but it might be worth asking if he could look at porting the Fairphone 6 to Fairphone 5 for people. Alternatively, [all his additions are open source](https://github.com/milos-mainline/linux), so someone else could take a look and see if they are portable.

Looks like in maybe a month there will be a viable fairphone 6 with PostMarketOS (via user TheMightyCat):

From my understanding, Russia is running out of gas and their economy suffering significantly.
Ukraine is getting stronger and better defended. If they run out of money, they may be in some trouble, but that doesn't seem to be looking likely anytime soon (large influx of EU money coming soon).
Ukraine can trade small amounts of land to allow Russia to grind its self down (Pyrrhic victory after Pyrrhic victory). Eventually Russia won't be able to sustain their momentum and can be pushed back then (already seeing some evidence of this beginning).
Edit: spelling

**Takeaways:**
- All-Time MAU Peak (in last 7 Days): Peertube
- Funkwhale 2.0 doesn't appear to be having a significant impact boosting their MAU
- Loops continues to decline (4.8k MAU), now less than 2x their pre-January boost numbers (2.6k MAU)
- Piefed _may be_ stabilizing at ~2.5x (5.3k MAU) their pre-January boost numbers (2.1k MAU)
- Middling negative week for the threadiverse
- Middling positive week overall for the Fediverse (bolstered by Mastodon and Peertube)

**Notes:**
1. Threadiverse is Piefed, Lemmy, and Mbin. Fediverse only accounts for listed software [12], not the other [117] software tracked by Fediverse-Observer.
2. Fediverse-Observer provides daily MAU back to 20221130. FediDB only provides a current snapshot (snapshot within the last 15 minutes, no time series data) and only tracks some of the software [67].
3. FediDB seems to use unclear math to get there counts and overestimate the MAU on most software (see [previous post](https://piefed.zip/c/fedigrow/p/1165910/growth-of-the-fediverse-20260301), if interested in learning more).
Edit:
1. In previous posts I said there was a 3 week gap in the Loops data about a year ago. Looks like I was confused data from a following variable as continuation of the previous Loops data. Apologizes for any confusion. Loops data starts 20250522.
2. Added a comment about potential Piefed stabilization.
