I started this list 4 months ago. It is now over 110 items. I don't think Carney has done the right thing on a single one of them -- indeed, he continues to do the opposite on most of them.

Most outbreaks turn out not to pose wider risks. The issue is that public health messaging *always* declares low risk right away, which is true until it isn't. We don't know everything about viruses. Viruses evolve. New ones emerge via zoonoses. *Assuming* low risk can be disastrously wrong.

"What exactly do you expect Carney to do / not do?"
A thread of 50 specific items (with links, and not in any particular order), a large fraction of which are in line with warning signs we pointed out early on and were told to be quiet, wait and see, or trust his 4D chess acumen.

You say all those guns are not, in fact, required in case of tyranny? And the reason citizens can't strike en masse is because they lack healthcare and have no job security? And they can't rise up because of violent militarized police?
If you survive this, maybe make some big changes America.

Reminder that the strike is about a women-dominated workforce doing unpaid labour while executives get huge bonuses. Carney's Liberals are exactly who we warned they were.

Here's a few examples where vote splitting delivered a win to the Conservatives over incumbent NDP or Green candidates. Some of us warned that "Everyone must vote Liberal!" would lead to this.

No one is talking about a purity test or a single issue. Candidates test the waters on policy the entire time during an election. You can be a supporter *and* demand that they do better when something potentially concerning is done. Shrugging it off means that policy will stay.

Letting a virus run rampant means more viral evolution and it doesn't mean it becomes milder. It's like people learned nothing from SARS-CoV-2. 🤔

Welcome to 2025, a year in which these reminders remain necessary:
* Unmitigated spread of pathogenic viruses is bad.
* War crimes and ethnic cleansing are bad.
* Environmental destruction is bad.
* Extreme and growing wealth inequality is bad.
* Bigotry is bad.
